The Squirrel became an Indian, then shut, then burnt down recently.

I think it could be a nice place if someone spent a bit of time/money on it. Loads of outside space for the hot summer months ( ) Plus it's the nearest pub to me.

Anybody fancy purchasing it and doing it up?

Dr Who's tardis used to be a boozer; always looked bigger on the outside than on the in, until he bought it and turned things round.

So question - what strange combination of historical fact or fiction would you be happy to share a pint with toneet?

I reckon having a pint or ten with th'Incredible Hulk, Jesus and Boudicea (with the painters in). Bound to kick off.

Jesus, definitely.

Cheap night out. He won't drink and he can turn tap water into wine.

The Willows, Bradshaw = India Gate restaurant

The lamb, Bradshaw = Dine restaurant

The Nab Gate, Harwood = Baci restaurant

The Royal oak, Bradshaw = Latino lounge restaurant

The volunteer, Bromley x = Green Bengal restaurant

Hazzy you missed one of them up our way - the big old pub opposite India Gate that is now a residential property. What was that one called? Bulls Head rings a bell - in fact I am pretty sure it still has the name in the stone above the front door!

a place on the burger place on the middlebrook recently shut down and opened as a eaterie, can't for the life remember its name though. :pardon:
