I think Frank Warren's cards on ITV were just utter sh?te in the end so ITV didn't renew the deal.

 

And when ITV offered the deal originally they thought they'd be getting Hatton, that was the main reason they bought into it. But Hatton then left Warren.

 

The ?15 charge for this fight is a scandal really, it shouldn't be a decent fight - the Colombian has a seriously padded record...most of the people he's beaten have losing records and half have never won a single fight.

On many occasions I have had him driving on my bumper/overtaking me on Chorley New Rd (and I hardly drive slow) and I find him an arrogant sh?t for that alone.

 

His family, at the fight at the Arena near the Reebok were an utter disgrace. A close firend of mine had taken his young son, bought ringside tickets, and was pushed clean out of the way by the Khan rabble just as the fight got underway. They complained, deaf ears. I won't say what one of the cousins/brothers said but rest assured it was racist and had it been the other way round there'd have been bloodshed.

I think that's a bit harsh, he's a decent boxer, he's hardly sh?t - I'm waiting for him to come up against somebody decent from the US or Mexico, that should be interesting. He'll probably beat everything in Europe - but that's not saying to much

Khan won't even fight (or even mention) John Murray from Manchester who has every chance of beating him. Or John Thaxton from Norwich. He hasn't beaten the best of BRITAIN yet never mind the Mexicans. But he won't fight the other top Brits. Or in European terms Romanov (Belarus) who would take him apart.

 

My gripe is that he's being packaged and sold as this hot prospect who is beating everybody he fights - but in reality he's being fed hand picked, smaller opponents in order to milk the maximum return from his fame, with the absolute minimum of real sporting competition.
