November 13, 200817 yr sold about 300 for each game, thought they'd be more with free travel? Mine has just been purchased for the Sunderland game.
November 13, 200817 yr sold about 300 for each game, thought they'd be more with free travel? too cold! been Sunderland and Boro too many times Colder than a withches tit. 3 points at boro though. i feel it
November 13, 200817 yr Theres time yet, id guess at about 1,000 for each because as stated above its freezing and obviously christmas isnt far away.
November 13, 200817 yr sold about 300 for each game, thought they'd be more with free travel? Although the gesture by the club is a kind one, it will hardly get hundreds more travelling. The away game should be a full day out, not going on a coach with no alcohol, arriving an hour before KO and returning immediately after the game. Its been said before but its near Xmas, its always freezing up there and theyre also on back to back saturdays. I would predict around 1000 to each, a couple of hundred more than normal.
November 14, 200817 yr too cold! been Sunderland and Boro too many times Colder than a withches tit. 3 points at boro though. i feel it I bet its even colder sat on the bench and in the bottom three! Good move Mr I want to play for a bigger club
November 14, 200817 yr If we get a result tomorrow they'll be flying out like hotcakes. Also, most people will be travelling to the Reebok tomorrow and will purchase tickets whilst there rather than make a trip just for tickets.
November 14, 200817 yr Thinking of taking C86 Jnr to the sunderland game, his first away game. Need some pointers. Will I get chance to have beer when I get to the ground? Not been to the new one before, Roker Park was fun. Will coke "pop" be allowed on the coach Am I better spending the dosh on beer and watching on't t'nternet?

Coka cola and other soft drinks are allowed on the coaches. What isn't allowed on the coach is hot food bought from burger bars etc.
November 16, 200817 yr Thought they could have pushed this a bit yesterday, but no mention over the tannoy at any point that I heard. Bought my ticket for both at about half 12 yesterday and we had only sold 320 for Boro' and 360 for Sunderland. I would expect Sunderland to be more popular as people will have done Boro' last season. About 1000 is probably a good estimate.
November 16, 200817 yr 2 games where we can and must get something from. 2 defeats will leave us well and truly in the mire.
November 20, 200817 yr problem is that the north east is a complete shit hole and free travel or not, xmas is closing in.
November 20, 200817 yr Not going Boro but will be at Sunderland fcuk all pubs near ground at Boro and they just throw you in ground at 2.
November 20, 200817 yr Not going Boro but will be at Sunderland fcuk all pubs near ground at Boro and they just throw you in ground at 2. Its 10 mins max walk to town centre from Boros ground ffs - walkabout, the central, dr browns, wetherspoons and the like. Its nearer to town centre than Sunderlands ground. Stop making excuses. PS. I'll be at Boro.

November 20, 200817 yr Tony Kelly, in his Bolton News column, said there were currently 14 coaches going to Boro. Is that about 700 for the freebies?
November 20, 200817 yr 10 mins walk my ass! try 20 and it shows how backwards middlesborough is when the nearest cash machine is 20 minutes from the ground
November 21, 200817 yr Boro has to be one of the most souless grounds in the country, makes the reebok look like the maracana, the plus points going to the North east are the villages and towns on the way up bedale, boroughbridge and the likes, also the traditional chippy in bedale is a cracker.
November 21, 200817 yr To be fair....many clubs have less interest for North East games. Seen it quite a lot with us, and the likes of City, Villa, Spurs etc.
November 21, 200817 yr there is a big fcuk off boat 2 mins from the ground that sells beer. on a sunday it does a family sunday lunch for a fiver and topless gogo dancers as well !!

November 21, 200817 yr I thought that boat had gone. I don't remember seeing it last season. the big fcuk off boat has fucked off ? fcuk me.
November 21, 200817 yr I thought that boat had gone. I don't remember seeing it last season. Pretty sure David Copperfield was appearing at Middlesbrough the weekend we were last there. Maybe he had something to do with it.
