Thats where i was off to, trains cancelled though.

Took 1 minute to get in work today instead of 30 seconds

Ridiculous

Have to say though, no sign of gritting on the road into middlebrook or mansell way.

I look forward to receiving a small refund on my council tax

took 2 hours to go from Darwen to the BP on Blackburn Road. Turned back and came home, day off :yahoo:

You lucky josser.

Thornleigh and Turton closed apparently.

so is ss osmunds and andews, and blackshaw in breightmet.

About 4 inches of snow here and still falling.

Fearns Sports College is closed too.

Gritters came past the Town Hall about 15 mins ago. 6 hours too late. As usual.

Got to Manchester from Horwich in 90 mins. No gritting evident.

Doesn't help with some of the pillocks on the road who can't drive (even some 4x4's - seen one who had hit a kerb and his wheel fell off BMW X3 - )

Definately not been done along Chorley Old, Chorley New as well. 90 minutes today to go 2.5 miles. I should've walked (but I'm lazy!)

Was it just me who saw the snow predicted on Sky news last night or do the council gritter folk not watch the news?

first crash spotted on st petes behind burnden

20 mins Didsbury to Manc City Centre. Easy

You backwards yonners :p
