I must say my first reaction was of shock, but then when thinking about it, we need Muamba back in the midfield so somebody has to miss out. It was never going to be Taylor because he is on fire and probably our 2nd biggest goal threat, and the pace and skill of Gardner will probably be more useful in this game than the battling ability of Davies.

 

And if needs be then we can bring him on to cause some trouble in the box in the last 20 minutes or so.

If we win or draw then it will be fine, we lose and Megson will get slated............
