Anyone sensing a day off tomorrow !! :yahoo:

Stoping now,sun out in MG.

Keeping fingers crossed it can continue for rest of the day then through the night - if skies clear and it is a clear (late) night and day tomorrow the ice will probably all over the place and the roads will probably be like ice rinks. If was anything like last month no one will be able to get to work anyway. But atm don't think it's snowing enough.

A675 aka Belmont Road has been closed due to snow according to national radio.

Snowing heavy again now here. :good:

Called round at my mum's earlier. She lives in a 1st floor flat over looking the car park.

As I got out of the car I noticed her having a toot out of the window.

I got about 5 yards from my car and took a bit of a wobble on the icey car park. It was literally like an ice rink.

As I got in the flat and walked up the stairs she says "Is it slippy out there?"

Knowing that she'd obv seen me I replied "Not really, I was just practising my skating"

Her response "Of course you were, Torvill"

She was S. Had a bit of cloud about for a day and a half. Bit of a relief from searing heat but even at 10C cooler with all that cloud it's been muggy and humid - which is probably worse than 42C of dry heat.
