Hooligans Are So Tough

Featured Replies

I wonder why! :::lol:::

The thing about kids at these games and violence having no place in the game.....West Ham Millwall isnt just about football. Its a local thing for local people.

They just dont like each other, simple as that, and football is the best excuse to get it out in the open once in a while

Having 2000 from south of the river on your streets taking the piss isnt going to be taken lightly, locals who have not been near Upton Park for years will be out, it's just another local tear up thats gone on for over a hundred years. I gaurantee there will be old east end wimmin urging their bretheren on against the filth from south of the river, likewise there will be old men on the Old Kent Road urging their offspring to slap some muggy scabs tonight.

Its happened in factories, docks, shipyards, horse racing, darts, dogs, butlins, southend prom....so anyone taking their kids really does need to ask themselves if its a wise decision.

Especially the silly sod on R5 who admited to being from Brighton and went because he was sort of a fan of WHU, and wanted to use the chance to bring his kid to a cheap (?10) game. I mean what sort of pillock decides that, to this of all games :pardon:

Another thread that will be locked soon......

I only locked the first one, because it was heading down the path of us lot bickering amongst ourselves.

Whereas this one seems to be discussing the incident itself.

The biggest crime of the night is fat men running on the pitch and then feeling the need to take their shirts off.

Have a word with yourselves lads. The Jury will piss themselves laughing at you.

Guilty as charged, m'lud.

Could somebosy let me know why Millwall & West Ham fans hate each other so much?

At the risk of someone else answering further down this thread (can't be arsed trawling - just got up), I can tell you what my Millwall and West Ham mates down here tell me (all mates together note!).

It allegedly goes back centuries and football is only one place it surfaces. It's about 'working class' bragging rights in London. Both sides reckon they deserve the title. I can tell you that south Londoners absolutely despise the whole Pearly King and Queen shiyte and that whole cockney jellied eels/sound of Bow bells bollocks with a passion. According to the Bermondsey boys down here, grafting for a living and managing to stay just above the breadline is not something to parade and be proud about. Head down, arse up and get on with the graft instead of the whole chim-chiminee cockney media image thing.

The Hammers lads I know are mainly Essex types who hate Millwall as a reciprocal thing. You never know, Micky The Hippo, Chim or Woohoo John might come on and give us their side. No point asking Womferd. He's an Essex lad and is currently out clumping folk.

Edited to say Smiffs nailed it. Thought someone would.

he appears to have one of those coin holders round his neck that you buy kids from Chester Zoo for their school trip pennies.

Well, if he pulled his jeans up a bit I might bum him. :pardon:

Did anybody else catch SSN this morning and the newspaper round up??

They had Shaun Custis from 'The Sun' and he was going on about the events at Upton park last night.

He also added that films such as 'The Football Factory' and 'Green Street' were to blame as its glamorises football violence,

does anybody else agree with Shaun's comments??

Anyone that knows athletics will tell you this is a classic finish-line 'dip'. Used to gain a slight advantage in a photo finish.

Shaun is probably secretly bloody loving it as it gives him something else to whitter on about in his rag!

That's purely my opinion & not fact of course! :D

Did something happen last night then ??

I was too busy washing the dishes, hovering and doing some ironing.

Completely agree NB, if 'The Sun' sells an extra 50,000 copies because of their coverage of last nights festivities

then he'll be laughing all the way to the bank, I doubt his moral high ground stance is entirely related to violence but

more towards selling newspapers.

That picture needs a Benny Hill soundtrack.
