Breightmet Boy Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 From a employee at The Reebok Mr Megson has 5 games left unless results change, i respect him but this is concrete. To come out with comments like that im putting my neck on the line, but all im saying is Eddie aint happy !
Guest Blixa Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Nah, if he wasn't happy, he wouldn't have given him time and money over pre-season. He'll give him 'til January.
Breightmet Boy Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 So who do you know in the club superstore then? Club superstore , i aint talking rubbish here, quite a few know me on here and know me better
Guest The Special One Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Club superstore , i aint talking rubbish here, quite a few know me on here and know me as a bullshitter
Breightmet Boy Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 TSO, i aint no bullshitter. As you know i like what megson has done for us, i aint telling no porkies ,
waffer cup 07 Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I'd be worried if Eddie was happy. No points no goals.
Gaz Nt Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 So basically your saying, Owen Coyle will be our manager just in time to face United!
mixup Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Breightmet Boy's post has the ring of truth about it. ED has pushed the boat out with GM who can, in turn, claim that he achieved the main objective of keeping us in the Premiership. However, too many supporters (including those who thought that GM had been given an unfairly hostile reception) have been alienated and the unprecedented investment in players and player contracts has not built confidence nor has it shown signs of improving the quality of entertainment on offer. Two games into the season is too early to draw conclusions but whilst most of us were looking for signs of improvement it is hard to see much other than the continuance of the drab grind that we have witnessed for some time.

Sums it up for me spot on.
onlyoneawalker Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Whether Breightmet Boy is bullshitting or not I for one definately detect a change in megsons demeanour so far this season, he looks weary and like a man at the end of his teather he knows full well the writing is on the wall and has as much chance of reversing his current standing at bolton as I have of pulling on that lily white shirt and running out at the reebok - eddie knows it, he knows it and so does every bolton fan he is a sacked manager walking. I've never resorted to calling him names or saying i wont go down to watch while he's there thats wrong but I have had it with him after his comments against Hull the man is getting bitter and now so am I. we need to make the change now so the new man has every chance of succeeding - assess the squad and right the wrongs in Jan but most importantly the fans (any clubs most important asset) can wipe the slate clean and get back on the up

Isn't every manager bar Fergie in the exact same boat?

Guest Blixa Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 And we can bring in...erm...mmm...bet they're queuing up to manage Bolton. Especially two weeks after the transfer window has shut, with little money to spend in January, two forwards (at a push), no playmaker and a hostile crowd who'll kick off any anyone who isn't Jose Mourinho or some other Champions League winning gaffer. Is Glenn Roeder still out of work?
onlyoneawalker Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 As opposed to the ultra dynamic and positive demeanour he had when he first arrived? True - but IMO the reaction by the fans after only two games rightly or wrongly has shown him he's zero chance of winning over the fans and he just looks resgined to his fate Why do you want to play for Preston? i was referring to the colour of our strip not the nickname for those no marks Isn't every manager bar Fergie in the exact same boat? Maybe but some are more "sacked manager walking" than others
Carlos Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 WMD will go spare but... Do we actually play in lily white? Last season was definately pissy underpants yellowish off-white, according to my Dulux chart.

No one expects Jose Mourinho but to sit back and do nothing with whats going on beggars belief - we can do so much better than where we are no and the risk of changing manager is far less of a risk than sticking with this one - seriously come on don't be so apathetic.

Yea I'll give you that - it was cricket cream i think but saying "pulling on the famous cricket cream shirt and running out at the reebok" sounds wank

HTH & apologies to MWD.

Fair point. When people say 'who are we going to get in' they seem to forget Megson was helping out coaching somewhere for nothing. So we were hardly dining at the top table last time were we.
