I can't begin to comprehend what this mother is going through but I believe she's made a massive mistake that she will come to regret.

The fact that the British Prime Minister (who I have little time for) has taken time out to write personally shows the intentions were sincere and genuine.

In her defence NB she is greiving and I presume she is not thinking straight and wants to lash out, she must be so full of anger. i agree with you that she is probably being used by The Sun for political reasons which if you think about it is 100 times worse that what Brown did. He made a mistake but thats what it was a mistake, The Sun are cyniacally using this poor woman, the more I think about it the angrier Iam getting, this is someones real life, real misery and suffering it shouldnt be used as a political football.

Heard the story this morning on Radio 5. She had the call on loud speaker so her friend could listen record it on her Blackberry.

 

Now, I'm not calling Gordon Brown thick here but when I am having a call with somebody who has the phone on loud speaker its bloody obvious by the noise and feedback. Surely our PM must have realised this?

This unfortunate mother will lose all credibility just because what she is doing lacks any sort of moarlity. The Sun know this but will use her to get at Gordon Brown and Labour. As soon as things start to get nasty for her they'll start off by playing the mourning mother bit and then they'll drop her to try and ressurect her own credibilty.
