From what I have seen of him in his 1st season, he's not worth the money we paid for him. He didnt have a good season at all.

 

Give him till xmas, then get him working behind the kiosks on matchdays.

I really thought and prayed for the sake of the club that this would be his season but unfortunately he's not got any better. The problem is we won't get anywhere near the money we paid out for him (whatever that was) so i think we're stuck with him

He's now rooted as our 3rd choice striker and that's only because we haven't really got a 4th one!

And not really in the middle of the park either. On at least one occasion he was close to the side touchline. No excuse for being offside when you can look along the whole of the defence!

klasnic, the lad can finish, you get the impression he just needs it to fall within a stretched leg's distance to him in the box and he'll get a shot in

Elmander has got a good touch with the ball played to feet. He is not shite. For whatever reason we have bought a player who does not suit our style of play. Truly great players will adapt, but Elmander is not a great player. Around the edge of the box with his back to goal Elmander is strong and looks ok. Trying to get in behind defences and he is too slow. To get the most out of him the ball needs to go to his feet. He reminds me a little bit of a lightweight Viduka.

 

Unless Vaz Te has had extensive coaching on how to run, I cant see him as an option. When I say how to run I dont mean in the sense that he is lazy but literally how to actually run. Vaz Te has forged a career so far on looking like he should be good. I hope he proves me completely wrong.
