Sir_Francis Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I never rated Coyle, him Mixu and Defreitas between em made up one good striker alongside McGinlay IMO Coyle seemed very much a confidence player, and he was a good finisher But he is a legend for the important goals he got What Coyle lacked in ability, he made up for in effort. That's my memory of him.
bolton va va Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Coyle was the Henrik Pederson or David Reeves of his day - not quite good enough , but a tremendous attitude.
Winchester White Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Coyle was the Henrik Pederson or David Reeves of his day - not quite good enough , but a tremendous attitude. Pretty much spot on that, couldn't fault his effort.
Traf Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Coyle was the Henrik Pederson or David Reeves of his day - not quite good enough , but a tremendous attitude. Hopefully, we'll not be saying that about his management in 18 months time.
Breightmet Boy Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Swanny has somehow changed this topic from Elmander to Coyle without anyone noticing. Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash, whatever it is. If we get 4m for him im delighted
