January 9, 201016 yr Without googlin or any other cheating methods, who did he make his wanderers debut against ? I don't know but didn't he score against Burnley? Or was that Barry Siddall?
January 9, 201016 yr Without googlin or any other cheating methods, who did he make his wanderers debut against ? Not 100% sure but think it was Blackpool at home that ended in us getting beat 3-0.
January 9, 201016 yr I recall when he was the Rotherham keeper he thought it was a goal kick and he put the ball down to take the dead ball kick and we (i dont know who it was) tapped the ball into the net for a goal....
January 9, 201016 yr I recall when he was the Rotherham keeper he thought it was a goal kick and he put the ball down to take the dead ball kick and we (i dont know who it was) tapped the ball into the net for a goal.... Gary Jones, I think ? I wasn't there, but my brother always remembers it.

January 9, 201016 yr i remember him against carlisle at home 3-3 at the time, and as their forward bore down on goal, he just jumped like a starfish and the forward put the ball straight through his legs.
January 9, 201016 yr Debut against Blackburn Rovers. Seamus was the Lincoln goalkeeper when they had the fire at Bradford City.
January 9, 201016 yr When Seamus leg was wearing thin when Bolton started calling in, come on down and wear your old cloth cap, tell us all about your ways, and all about those Rotherham days...... I think it's something like that? Did he not nearly snuff it through a blood clot in his thigh that went wrong at Rotherham and that is where the top line above comes from? I remember him singing it on the Town Hall Steps when we won promotion.........
January 9, 201016 yr Author Not 100% sure but think it was Blackpool at home that ended in us getting beat 3-0. Thats what I remember, Blackpool.
January 9, 201016 yr HE was over here for a while, played in the same team as David Hogan, when they played in L.A. we had a great night out with Stuart Lee, and a few other Bolton fans....he was at Ian Greaves's funeral still making everyone laugh, after leaving Leicester City, Seamus can still be seen each week on the telly he is usually sat on the bench for Aston Villa as he is their goalkeeping coach, still got a full head of hair but snow white
January 9, 201016 yr i don;t think so felgate may have been? Yep it was deffo Dave Felgate playin, I think our old Robbie "show us ya arse" Savage was also playing in that game.
January 9, 201016 yr i don;t think so felgate may have been? You are right Cassie. Can't think why I thought it was Seamus.

January 10, 201016 yr Debut against Blackburn Rovers. Seamus was the Lincoln goalkeeper when they had the fire at Bradford City. Felgate and Redfearn both played for Lincoln on Bradford fire day. That's a programme I would like to have a copy of but even in this recession it's going for ?45 -50 . I read somewhere that Jim Mcdonagh had a loan spell at Man Utd but he didn't play for the first team.
January 10, 201016 yr We used to go up to the Red Lion at Over Hulton on Saturday nights, Seamus, Paul Jones, Reidy, Hugh Curran, Big Sam were always in on the piss, Jonesy shared a house with somebody just down the A6. Seamus was always one of the more 'talkative' ones. Happy days them were
January 10, 201016 yr Not 100% sure but think it was Blackpool at home that ended in us getting beat 3-0. I still remember that game, that Fleetwood thug Billy Ronson kicked lumps out of our players that afternoon. A lot of Pool fans got the same treatment on the way back to the station.
