  • was gonna post the same, but id prob get another dozen or so negative rating for defending megson, so decided against it.

  • Tell you something as well, if Megson was still here - he would be getting more than a fair share of blame for this due to his failure to sign a centre back in January.   Its been near the top of ou

Is it an M&S blood clot?

talkshite state coyle confirms 'cahill out for a a number of months'

i think theres more to this than we're being told

Not good news at all this!

SSN reports that the blood thinning agents will take months to work and he won't be able to partake in sport during that period.

just seen on ssn now...

may play near end of season, but too early to tell.

from a selfish point of view, hopefully this will rule out anyone buying him in the summer.

As long as knight keeps up his form of late, it will be okay :| . Anyone going to the game might want to bring their boots though.

such as? you thinking something more serious/life threatening?

I think we'll miss his goals more than anything

Time for big Danny Shittu to step up to the Plate!!

Exactly, I don't think his attacking walkabouts suit a relegation battle. Hull dealt with City and they don't have any quality players. Big Danny and Big Zat, what a pairing!

Get well soon Gaz.

It would be remiss of me to try and create a positive out of Gary's misfortune, but think this may well galvanise the team long-term

Wheres the nearest bridge, thats it for me we are in big trouble.

This season is going from bad to worse.

No clinical striker (Klasnic) when we are playing all the teams around us in the next few weeks,

top goalscorer and defender now out for season.

Bright young talent on loan from top 4 club not featuring in any games !!

I am very worried now..................

Chaps i cant see us surviving now. We're going to have to win away games and i dont see us keeping any clean sheets away from home with the centre half pairings we're going to have. I know we havent kept any so far, but i think its less likely now that we'll keep one at places like wigan, blackburn, sund, west ham where we need results. i dont see us scoring two away from home in too many games. Yes we also kept a clean sheet on saturday but they were the must toothless attacking team ive seen in a long while (missing two main strikers also)

severe severe problems

Looking on the brightside Blackpool away next season :drinks:

Bloody hell - chins up chaps.

We've still got 2 centre halves for cover. AOB had a good game on Sat before he went down and Shittu's got a point to prove. His goals aside - Cahill hasn't been this Maldini style defensive demigod he's often made out to be this season. Not saying we won't miss him, but let's not go overboard and start panicking.

Provided they stay fit and their form is ok - the options we have will be fine.

BTW - did anyone else think Ricketts looked more comfortable at Centre Half than right back on Sat?

michael rickeets would've looked comfortable in a back four that had to face that fulham attacking threat
