That is true, but when you miss gilt edged chances like today and last sunday to kill the game, and don't, it gives extra encouragement to the opposition.

 

I also think Cahill & Knight as a partnership do not keep enough cleansheets!!

It was easier to score then miss. Petrov was shocking 2nd half, was surprised it was him who stayed on and not Lee for Taylor, Coyle probably didn't want to dent his confidence and feel like it was punishing him.

 

It feels like two points dropped, but just after West Brom equalized, Jussi made a fantastic save and Odemwingie totally mishit the ball when a long ball found him in the box with a clear shooting chance with space in the 90th.

 

Taylor should have done better with his chance late on, I thought our goal was great football, the assist from Davies was class and Johan did the buisness. Hopefully Petrov makes up for his miss just like Elmander has today in our next game.

 

Need to turn draws into wins, our downfall for me was letting too many crosses in, we dealt with most of them, was no surprise though to see their goal come from a cross, when Barnes came on for Dorrans, I thought Robinson struggled big time.

Pretty much what I thought, his tracking back was very poor and didn't even get a challenge in. He nearly gave a penalty away near the end too when he tried to tackle someone from behind.

I think Muamba has been average at best this season like he's carrying a niggle, M Davies has looked dangerous lately coming on maybe it's time to give him a few games

Just got back - another day in the corporate - getting too much of an habit with the prawn cocktail brigade.

 

We had super Bob Taylor and Richard Sneekes as guest speakers before the game and they were great with Sneekes saying the 'f' word - god he was embarrassed after that.

 

Getting to the game I though Petrov was poor again and his miss after going clear on goal cost us just like Elmander last week. Talking of Elmander he took his goal well but I thought he was very poor upto then

 

The rest of the team was very good with the back four performing very well apart from a couple of Zat Knight fck ups. Muamba was back on form today and what can you say about Holden, the guy is quality. SKD didn't win as much as he normally does but had a reasonable performance.

 

The West Brom centre half Olsson or something came to accept the man of the match after and I had a word with him about playing against SKD. He showed me his broken teeth and said he needed 8 stitches the last time he played against him - QUALITY.

 

Good to get another away point but like last week we could easily have taken 3
