Rooney - I Hope....

he turns round and says he wants to go to everton.

not for money as he gets loads of that anyway but because he wants to pay for them.

i know how unlikely this is but i can hope.

I'm with you   As far as I can see he's not stamped his feet....he's not refused to play (in fact the opposite)....   He's just said he won't sign unless they can reassure him that they'll sign to

  • to be fair   it is   what a little c?nt Rooney is   shags about, gets caught, goes sh?t when Englandneed him to play good, doesn't like it, toys out the pram, and probably moves across town and

he may not have asked for one, more to the point, for some reason, he expects one, as if he's owed it

he may not have come out and said I want a transfer, but him and his agent, most probably his agent, have been engineering a move for some time knowing if they "play" it the right way, they'll get one

I'm sure he's not said to his agent, sit tight for the remaining two years of my contract, and let's assess the situation then

likewise, if Fergie had said, aye, no problem, understand you're concerns but we need you more than we need to cash in, so we'll keep you for the remainder of your contract,

do you think he would've shook hands and agreed to get on with everything in a professional manner?

would he f?ck

he'd have done what he did to Moyes and cried and begged his way out, seeing as though Stretford already had lined him up a move out of Goodison, which he wanted

When the contract was signed, whenever it was, both parties knew what they were doing and what could happen, come the end of the contract and therefore with 1 year left, 2 years left etc

If Rooney had demanded a move right now I'd say fair enough

But by "engineering", as you put it, a move as they need to sell in January otherwise they'll gey nob-all for him, he's doing nothing new and nothing that cluns haven't used before.

Particularly the likes of Manchester United with players that they want to sign from elsewhere

Like I said, fuck'em

Some of you are deluded if you think players dont ask about what future caliber of signings Clubs are going to make, even before signing for them.

as is anyone who thinks Rooney is going to come out and admit the real reason why he wants to leave

the money

Utd are Utd, like them or loathe them, Ferguson's been managing them since before Rooney was born or thereabouts so think he knows more about the game than he does - if you think they don't have ambition you are also deluded, they just don't have a bottom less pit of money like City do, even Chelsea are losing money on a regular basis and by their own standards, spent cock all in the close season and brought in their 5th manager in 4 years

everyone's now going on about Utd falling behind Arsenal

an Arsenal team that are being ran in exactly the same way Utd are going to have to be, in bringing in young players and bringing them through, an Arsenal team that haven't won anything in years - but they still "compete"

compete doesn't mean winning

I really don't think Utd are going to bomb down the league or even finish outside the top 4

there's only 4 clubs in the world that could probably out do Utd on and off the field

Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and City (only in monetary terms as it stands)

looks like Rooney is joining the one who hasn't won a trophy in 35 years

ambition my arse

Looks like Rooney has screwed Everton over yet again! Cant see them getting much from the sell on fee

If he had gone for ?80m last summer, they would have got over ?12.5m

Like I said, fuck'em

never once disagreed with that

but there seems to be this idea that Rooney's done nothing wrong and is well within his rights to go about this in the way he has

just because you criticise Rooney, doesn't mean you're defending or feeling sorry for Utd, I think a few people are also missing that point

If Rooney goes to City and they win the league, would that justify the move ??

Arsenal fork out early for pre-pubescent boys long before other clubs get a look in. Their academy isn't that good at magicing raw talent into the fore.

did you ask yourself that question when he shat on Everton?

what was the answer?

if it was yes, did you find comfort in that?

I am asking you. Your obsessed with the money aspect.

IF he moves, and wins trophies, does that get him a pass ??

FWIW......The Everton move was completely different. His medal tally speaks for everything imo. Thats not what Everton fans were unhappy about, its what he did when he returned to Goodison as a United player that hurt.

it may justify leaving Utd, but certainly not the way he's gone about it - there's nothing that City can win that he hasn't - so La Liga represents a new challenge which would be understandle, City doesn't offer anything new other than more money

once a c?nt always a c?nt

FWIW the moves look pretty similar to me

Am I missing something or was it not a United source that leaked the desire to leave? Rooney has only said something yesterday hasn't he? Apologies if i'm being numb!

im already bored of the whole story.

and if its on SSN every night when i get home from now until the little cunt moves, im gonna send sky and parcel full of poo.

Have a plus 1, how the fuck this has got to 6 pages is beyond me.

6 pages and no fcuking agreement he's a cunt

i despair, i really do

horrible no mark scally scum

and no, it didn't need this latest episode to help me reach that conclusion

he only needs open his mouth

You can imagine were he would be without football. Probably an aggravated assault charge looming, on the dole and shagging around with curb crawlers while his fat, toothless childhood sweetheart tends to their two nippers, one who is a surprisingly dark hue for such a pale father.

Who cares, hopefully no-one will come in for him and he will spend the next 18 months in the reserves playing shite and ruin his career.

I think that Rooney just hates utd and has been waiting for the opportunity to take them down

Be interesting to see what Holloway would do if a bigger club than Blackpool wanted him whilst he's in contract.

Just said on the radio that United fans were protesting outside Rooney's house last night!!!! What has the world come to.

He has done nothing wrong in my eye! and gone about it in the right way by telling the club first and foremost that he wants to leave, not done it in the press first or anything back handed.

World's gone mad!

I think he will stay !

these are the same people that wear yellow and green scarves over the top of they're 40 quid United shirts in protest at the american owners, start up a seperate team in protest, probably got nothing better to do.

Wednesday night i was in the trafford centre whilst united were playing, the number of folk in united shirts, even one scraoty lass in a green and gold scarf. WTF weren't they watching their team even if only on the telly box

That's the funny thing

They'll be the same lot that are out campaigning against the Glazers

What they don't understand is that the Rooney situation kinda helps their point

idiots

he's signed a new 5 year contract
