Wolves 2 Bolton 3

After some good performance recently it's either back to earth with a bump good old Bolton style or we'll shit 'em.

Which one is it to be?

Where the fuck in this do you credit the whole team, dickhead,I do not hold a grudge, you are forever raving on about someone who isn't playing very well, and less of the 'old'

Nice one Diddles. If that doesn't win goal of the season, there's something seriously wrong.

It's...beautiful.

It should be up there for goal of the month, no doubt about it.

shocking defending by lee for their 1st goal!

Once again folk fail to notice SKD's part in their first goal. A little back heel where none was required and the ball goes to an orange shirt.

Do you want to shag him? The whole team were exceptional today not just fucking fish head.

Coffee all over my screen

What a joy that was great goals win away and it was wolves.....not overly concerned about the goals conceded spurs 2, evertons one and the wolves first ok we may have nipped it in the bud at the build up but all very very good goals/finishes no defences would have stopped

a crackin result, had to turn tele and radio off tho at 3-2. but lets all calm down, 2 big games coming up with a very possible 6 points, how fookin gud wud that be. coyw,

crackin result and a great game, i know muamba is know for his tackling but friggin hell how good is holden at doing that job!

i was proud as punch for holden getting that goal,IMO been our best player this season.

Elmo tek a boo for that goal lad jesus wept.

not keeping a clean sheet seems to be a big talking point and rightly so, wolves second goal was appauling to concede really was.

but lets push on lads still a long way to go but lets just say i'll be keepin my eyes on my holidays for next year!

Watched the game on some french speaking feed. Not a clue what they were saying after Elmos goal, but the words I could recognise were Lionel and Messi!!!!!

It is the best goal Bolton have scored since Gudjohnsens against Wimbledon and it might even top that

Ibrahim Ba dear god - who was in goal for us that day?

My lad was mascot for the game yesterday - hats off to Wolves, they were superb to him.

As for the game, we scored as we were being escorted round the pitch, I was jumping up and down

on the track behind the other goal - the natives were none too impressed.

Superb 2nd and 3rd goals and really we should have kicked on and battered them.

Their first was due to a sloppy KD back heel and the second was a ref mistake giving a corner instead of

a blatant goal kick.

Anyway, top day, 3 points and a few strongbows on the train back up north.

As for junior Marple - a day never to forget !!

:yahoo: =D> :drinks:

Interesting viewpoint from a poster on "THE WOLF":

Written by a bloke who won their message board trophy for Most Knowledgable Member 2010. (Don't know quite how much credibility this gives the article but, for once, it seems a Wolves fan actually admires the way we play rather than just harping back to Super John mcGinlay's boxing heroics.

Enjoyable, very open game with both teams trying to be creative.

Made for end to end football, with the higher quality side taking the points.

Bolton, were possibly the best side we have faced RECENTLY without the ball in our OWN half.

Pressed us high, with Davies giving a centre forwards master class in bullying players.

Wolves were more individual, rather then collective and paid the price for a lack of leadership.

Obviously in need of a voice at the back to help eliminate the individual errors.

Wolves are far to QUIET, which leads to a lack of concentration.

Without concentration players are not covering each other, supporting each other.

In any system they will continue to struggle if denied time on the ball.

Or uable to make space through good movement to create that space.

Bolton are a classic 4-4-2 team,

Knowing when to stretch the play, when to be compact, when to expand the midfield, when to be narrow.

When to add full backs to the attack, how to link midfield to the front two.

How to keep the ball, while waiting the support in forward positions.

Difference in closing down space, or giving to much space.

They had time to look up and pick a pass, we were given no such luxury.

Bolton are pretty much where I expected us to be at this stage of development.

Good technical quality up front, with 2 seasoned, know the game players.

Two centre backs who choose the right option most times.

Steady keeper, and a counter attacking ethic which serves them well.

Their are many plus points for Wolves, but goals change matches.

Giving teams a goal start is the major concern at the moment.

Good find that Micky, it's a well balanced piece that!

Makes a change from the anti McGinlay, anti Lofty the Lion, anti all things to do with Bolton shite normally found on that site.
