He's from the Flintshire area (Mold I think), and round those parts, Staffordshire, Shropshire etc in the 50's Wolves were one of the big teams to follow and he went a few times with his Dad or Grandad I think so had a soft spot for them from a early age. Through his life through he was a huge Liverpool fan. He had always tried to get onto the Liverpool board and held something like 5% of the shares but never got on with the Moores clan and vise versa. When their time was up he offered to buy them out they whored it around the world he packed up and fucked off. That's where the Wolves gig started and before you know it he's decked out his plane in Old Gold and left Liverpool wishing they'd taken him on board becuase he was the only one with the land (long story) and the commercial nouse to get them into Stanley Park.
