Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

Bolton are at ipswich that day

I know, I'm going to that, but gutted really :(

Can see a few Bolton fans going to watch Chorley though if they get through tomorrow.

I might go up. Was at the witton game last week. Glad its dry today. pitch wouldnt take much more rain

Going to Chorley tonight, mate reckons he's managed to blag a freebie.

So has my mate, I don't know how....but not for me.

Tamworth win 6-5 on penalties

Extra time and pens not ideal on a heavy pitch with Skem up on Saturday, but excellent game in the conditions. All chorley in extra time, deserved to go through I think. 4 games undefeated against conference opposition is some going though

Top game

Agreed. Chorley more than held there own.

Chatting to Steve Flitty who looked in good health.

flitcroft out

Come on Cas it's not the Breezeblok.:)

Disgrace...freebie at nonleague

Happy to say I've served my time and money in non-league.

Cracking game last night, fair play for the turnout as well though I do wonder where they all were less than 5 years ago with sub 200 crowds. Bumped in to a couple of lads who were up from Tamworth, they were pissing their sides at the banter with the yoof in extra time.

I think in some cases people are realising that non-league is like they used to watch football and that its not a bad standard of football. Also a lot are pissed off with Prem League, wgaes etc.

I'm in to my 5th season of non-league,

Enjoyed last nights game more than any bwfc game for years

it was a good old fashioned cup tie played in atrocious conditions, on a boggy pitch by 2 full commited sides. i really enjoyed it. and a mate of mine who went for the 1st time loved it and will be returning.

I totally agree with the sentiments of C86 and Fester, I have been involved with Athy Colls for over 35 years in one way or another, I will always be a Wanderer but more in spirit than presence, even though I do go to some away games, I only go on England trips for the craic because the football is shite, there is a resurgence in support of non league football and I amongst others enjoy it

Love non league to bits, watching Bolton is priority, but some of the days I have had watching NL football in the back of beyond as been brilliant.

Crap excuse I know, but don't know anyone personally so have never been to watch Chorley, but wouldn't mind going to see a couple of matches

Cracking win for Chorley, 4-1, just shy of 2000 on.

Should be a gd crowd vs fcum on 15/2

Bolton at millwall
