Coyle did himself no favours, at 60-65 minutes I was like "come on!,make a positive sub" 78th minute M.Davies comes on for Muamba, that's a good sub, but it's far too late, especially when you haven't made one before it.

 

I'll take the point, but I think Coyle let himself down today, do good subs, increase the attacking options, and then it's down to the players for not performing. He gave them no help, he left it far too late, he' still a god like, just a little disappointed with they way he managed today.

A draw at Newcastle is a decent result, regardless of whether they've just been promoted or not. Do people not remember the days of being beaten by Torquay at Burnden? Hats off to Coyle and the boys on a good away point, special well done to Alonso who had a good game by all accounts. Looking forward to buying my quarter final tickets and 2 possible trips to Wembley as well as an outside chance of Europe. If you're not happy at the moment them you're deluded!
