I'm waiting to see if the Tsunami hits Hawaii or not, supposed to land at 13:10 GMT.

My mate has been put on alert to fly out to Japan as part of the Fire Brigades search and rescue team, it'd going to be one hell of a clean up task.

Was a huge earthquake. it's a good job those Japs know a thing or two about knocking up buildings in an earthquake zone, as very few have fallen down. If that had happened in the Phillipines, it probably would have been totally flattened

Being a touch selfish, that's where I really hope it doesn't hit - that's part of my honeymoon trip in 6 weeks

It isn't good for those affected, but does it look so bad because of the wall to wall coverage and that you constantly see whole villages being swept away?

Or is it that bad?

Fortunately all the new buildings are quake proof in downtown tokyo. Spend a good 6 wks a yr in japan and have a lot of friends and colleagues who are in a lot of distress worried about the after shocks. god bless

They can put those robots they have over there to some good use now, seriously though it looks terrible, apparently like a 30-35 foot Tsunami, I can't even imagine what it must have been like to see that coming towards you.

What is with all these natural disasters? it's like watching a movie seeing the cars, houses, building, ships etc just get washed away, over a 1000 dead, this planet can be a right bitch at times.
