  • Four Northern teams in the Semis. Surely they'd take into consideration and travel difficulties.     I don't know why I've put surely in there. Let's face it, they couldn't give a fuck!

I'm staying in Hayes not a clue what its like there but hotel is nice and has sports bar and pool for the little one.

Prem TV games for that weekend -

Sat - none

Sun -

City v Spurs 1.30pm (cancelled)

Arsenal v Lpool 4pm

I would guess that the games will be Saturday 5.30pm and Sunday at 2pm, Police may want us v stoke on the Sunday as to avoid City / United / Lpool all in London on the same day.

Stayed at this hotel 18 months ago was alreet.

Pub next door which was ok.

Apsley Lock, nice place.

Cheers pal, got a good review on trip advisor as well. It says that it is opposite Apsley station, do you know if this is right or is it a taxi job?

Which hotel is that MK? I work in Hayes 2 or 3 days a week so stay locally too. You're not far from Uxbridge which has plenty of bars and restaurants

I have the joy of not worrying about accomadation. Totally the correct decision to build the national stadium down south ;)

Think my Dad will be flying down though as it doesn't work out that much more expensive I'm told.

Hope to get down fri, match on sat and spend the day with him on sunday on london eye watching the marathon whilst recovering from being super shitfaced. No intention of watching other semi, they are both SYHTE.... :yahoo:

:good: , am I missing something because it seems to good to be true for that amount of money and so close to the ground?

Confirmed our hotel reservation and paid up so got a 20% discount, ?44 for the twin rooms and the same price for double and a sofa bed! (Holiday Inn Express Apsley)

Reserved the final as well, fingers crossed!

Why are folk staying near Heathrow?

It's the arseend of nowhere. It's a good 90mins away from Wembley (more like two hours by the time you have got the bus into the tube station at Heathrow).

I am still waiting to see if I can get a corporate ticket to the Mancs game via EON and if so I will be staying over until the Monday; Saturday night is a bit expensive though.

Looks like the train from Pershore which gets me into Paddington for 12 noon for ?33 return or travel to Stroud and travel in with two others in the car; All these choices are driving me mad

I am in London on the Saturday for business reasons.

Was going to stay around Euston on Saturday night - ?200+ for a night in a Travel Lodge - no thanks.
