April 21, 201115 yr This might be a longstanding SEB but I don't remember reading about it before..... Just been informed that Tony Kelly is cousins with Joey barton Apparently Barton has oft been to Zico for advice when in bother Nothing to do with current events, I just didn't know that until 10 mins ago As you were Edited April 21, 201115 yr by jules_darby
April 21, 201115 yr Aye zico wad trying to get him to sign for us before he joined toon. The pitchforks were being readied iirc
April 21, 201115 yr I don't like the scouse cunt but he would have made a difference to the midfield for us on sunday
April 21, 201115 yr Tony Kelly isn't a cunt as far as I am concerned so go figure Then you can't have read the garbage he writes in the BEN every Wednesday.
April 21, 201115 yr Then you can't have read the garbage he writes in the BEN every Wednesday. You need to realise that he is employed by BWFC. As such he is never going to write anything that may upset his employers. Who's the fool though, him for writing stuff you don't always agree with or you for paying 42p for the shittest no-news paper in the country?
April 21, 201115 yr 42p for the shittest no-news paper in the country? Is that the going rate? fuck me I used to turn my nose up at 20p. If i wanted to hear charity pleas and grandmas selling cats id go on loot.com circa 2001!
April 21, 201115 yr We get a couple delivered to work each day. I must admit, we do enjoy the BN photographer's efforts to make folk look a tway in the pictures. A recent example was when someone had found drugs thrown under a bush. Photographer turned up to do the pictures to go with the story and gets them to pose, looking under the (by now) empty bush in an angry manner. Or the kid whose bike has been stolen who is told to stand by the wall where the bike had been leaning and look sad. Cue bottom lip sticking out as a sign of sadness.

We get it at work every day. The headline photo made me laugh t'other day. A picture of the spot where a 'container' used as changing rooms had been stolen, followed by a random picture of a big container.
April 21, 201115 yr Free loading scouse fcuker was bumming ale off anyone he could in Madrid and Lisbon
April 22, 201115 yr Free loading scouse fcuker was bumming ale off anyone he could in Madrid and Lisbon Athy: that's not completely accurate my friend. Tony Kelly came on a 3 day trip to Madrid with me and 2 of my mates. We stayed at the Hotel Ganivet about a mile from the VC. Throughout the stay, not one single drop of alcohol passed his lips. He drank Coke all the time. Mind you, he did bum more than the odd glass

April 22, 201115 yr i saw him at boro away a few years ago the one with mccann scoring, and he was steamrolled! I was talking to him on the concourse before the game, couldn't tell a word he said & he hadn't been drinking at that point.
April 22, 201115 yr Hes an annoying fat scouse twat - liked him as a player but FANS LIASON OFFICER - What the fucks that all about
April 22, 201115 yr I like the guy, he was a class player and on the occasions I have come across him since he didn't try to bum me or thieve my wallet. Unusual for a scouser and seems a pleasant enough bloke
April 23, 201115 yr He spoke to my brother and his five-year-old grandson outside the Stadium before last Sunday's game. He gave the boy his Bolton Wanderers scarf at the end of the conversation, which made his day. Speak as you find. He'll do for me.
April 23, 201115 yr I never had a problem with him as a player although others did; remember Emley away in FA cup? (played at huddersfield) He got merciless stick from small sections of our 'support' which festered throughout the game and, as still happens now, kids and dickheads pick up on it and soon half the crowd are goading him. Eventually he snapped and threw a couple of fingers in the direction of the Bolton crowd. Strangely, once he'd laid that demon to rest by fucking the boo-boys off, shortly after this event, he became a highly respected player who played to his skills and didn't try stuff too fancy. Always got time for a chat there days so in my book he's an alright chap.
April 23, 201115 yr Tony Kelly telling us what to do as fans liason officer is like someone who was a briefly a neighbour fifteen years ago telling you how to decorate your lounge.
April 23, 201115 yr Hes an annoying fat scouse twat - liked him as a player but FANS LIASON OFFICER - What the fucks that all about The fans liason officer thing was something the club asked him to do at a time when relations between the club and the fans was at a very low point, The role was more for him to go and see sick fans in hospital and bring them to games and not as some have thought to sack Gary Megson. He was only ever getting expenses for what he did but he loves bwfc and wanted to be part of the club again. Now he misses most away games and some home games due to him being David Lee's assistant manager with the youth team and spends most his time with the kids. I dont understand why he gets so much stick from some, i for one think its a good thing that the likes of TK, David Lee, Jimmy Phillips are apart of the club. They where all there when the good times started again and its good for them to be there to pass on the spirit of the club to the kids.
April 23, 201115 yr But as fan's liaison officer he doesn't tell you what to do, he asks what you'd like to do. If you have an idea you think may lead to a better match day experience them let him know. Likewise if you have any constructive criticism then let him know. Before you do though, understand that constructive criticism isn't the same as criticism.
April 23, 201115 yr Likewise if you have any constructive criticism then let him know. Before you do though, understand that constructive criticism isn't the same as criticism. Yes it is. Criticism is criticism whether it's constructive or not.
April 23, 201115 yr Yes it is. Criticism is criticism whether it's constructive or not. Are you implying that there is no place for criticism, even if done in the interests of the club rather than the person criticising?
