Bolton Mark Two

Has today signed Faye from Stoke, allegedly offered Gardner a contract and has had a bid rejected for Nolan. How long before we receive a call for SKD?

It's obvious, Nolan wants to play for England, his move to West Ham will secure him that opportunity

  • I'd love to be a fly on the wall in martin samuels office now the fat bearded sex offending looking bolton hating cunt

He currently seems to loathe Bolton as a club, presumably down to his ongoing dispute with Gartside. He can't seem to hide his joy when his returning clubs beat us, or indeed his anger when he doesn't

or lose, like he did with blackburn

I've just had my first smile of the day.

Thinking about when Holden's shot hit the back of the net... and then watching it back on MotD and seeing Allardyce's reaction.

Highlight of the season for me.

What's the opinion like on KUMB? You couldn't make it up, Bolton's team from 10 years ago at West Ham, hahaha.

Just had a look and they are lapping it up.

Didn't the league sign up to UEFA's financial fair play? They are going into the most competitive league in the world, spunking money they don't have, it's shit or bust.

We agree on most things, P, but give your head a bit of a shake.

I know C. I'll place it in the special file along with our wonderful Royals entitled 'things I don't agree with Traf about' :D

I have said it before - West Ham is not our natural enemy. They have been a great source of points for us. We beat them in the first Wembley FA Cup Final and, therefore, will always have a historical link with us.

Ally that with our greatest post war manager and I can only wish them well.

Stop it now, please.

Personally think Rioch did more in bringing our club back than Allardyce. Time seems to have clouded the achievement of taking a middling, skint third tier club to the top table, throwing in a Wembley cup final too and playing the game how it should be played. Allardyce runs him a close second.

Fat Sams takeover complete

Are you really a Bolty 58er? It's surely Bill Ridding.

they did two different jobs effectively - and Rioch didn't even see his out

side by side, all things considered, Alladyce did far more for the club

Here's an article that fat cunt Martin Samuel wrote just last year, he's still bitter and twisted about us relegating his beloved WHU in 2003

I'm starting a campaign, all go on Google and search for - martin samuel fat cunt

over and over so that when someone types Martin Samuel, the first suggestion that pops up is "Martin Samuel fat cunt".

Indeed, Allardyce?s managerial career and reputation was forged on a policy one might argue was extraordinarily harmful to the English game. The springboard for his success at Bolton Wanderers came in the 2002-03 season when Allardyce?s team stayed up at the expense of West Ham United. This happened thanks to the temporary recruitment of a number of foreign players on loan. Indeed, in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal on April 26, 2003, Bolton started with 11 foreign players and at one stage had five loan signings on the pitch. Meanwhile, West Ham went down having blooded many of Fabio Capello?s present England squad, including Joe Cole, Michael Carrick, Glenn Johnson and Jermain Defoe (Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand having already left), with David James in goal.

just goes to show how shit they really were then, and just how bitter Samuel really is :)

Without Rioch, Allardyce wouldn't have come - we'd probably have been below Blackpool if we'd gone for a different manager. Todd's role underrated too. Not that I'd put him above Allardyce.

(have been working on that all morning !)

Did we really have 5 loanees on the pitch at one time in that Arsenal game ?

Mendy, Andre, Ballesta ....... who else ?

Campo ? Laville ? Armstrong ?

No criticism of all Arsenal's (and other clubs') foreign legions though. What a surprise.

Arsenal's squad that day included Vieira, Pires, Ljungberg, Bergkamp, Wiltord, Henry ... who were all probably on the pitch.

And Lauren, van Bronckhorst, Edu, Cygan, Silva, Warmuz, Luzhny, Shaaban, Kanu, Stepanov, Tavlaridis, Toure, Volz, Aladiere, and Svard ..... who might not have been.

Course it's nothing to do with loanees (we must have been within the rules) or foreign players (even Wet Spam have them), it's just cry-baby stuff coz the 1966 World Cup winners went down. Pathetic !

:good:

I propose typing a number of things that would appear whenever anybody types his name.

Stop it now, please.

OK mate but I am becoming a confused Trotter. Don't get the strong feelings about WHU - a bit of a non entity for mine - far greater dislikes in football including the antichrists, Rovers, Bury etc. Likewise, I really don't get the comments about not hating the DMB's as much as certain other clubs.

It's just unBoltonian, that's what it is. A few of us will cling to the traditions.............. :D

Same for me to be honest. Yes if they were in a relegation fight against say, West Brom, Norwich or Sunderland, they would be the team I would want to drop but cant say my feelings are strong either.

Dont think I know a single WHU fan personally or come across any in my travels. My dislikes/hate for particular clubs come from speaking to blinkered/smug/biased local fans of other clubs (usually friends outside of the football talk) and then teams that I may have had a personal bad experience from (and not just results wise)
