Tyrone Mears.

Just had it on good authority he's been taken to hospital from the training ground with a suspected broken leg.

Rather play Diddles at RB than Wheater. Good centre back but bloody shite at RB!!

Where's all the OTT hysteria asking which idiot thought a training session was a good idea. Not if a player ends up with a broken leg.

Zamora's went last night to

whats changed, i still didnt want us to sign him. but im not gonna say "good, im glad he's broken his leg"

...alternatively, the 'it's the end of the world' pessimism doesn't quite work if it's a player you don't rate as a first teamer in the first place.

Good luck to the lad though with his recovery, bad that this has happened before he's had the chance to prove the doubters wrong.

Shakes head at being stuck with Steinsson week in week out

The point is these injuries are all chipping away at a first team squad we thought was paper-thin last season.

how many broken legged players have we had on recent times? cant be many?

stuart holden?

and errrr, dean holden maybe??

I remember when Robbie Elliot broke his leg, horrible.

Nicky Hunt once broke his leg too, didn't he?

wasn't he just forever dislocating his shoulder?

I was thinking that.

it's more our squad is getting smaller than it was already

we have 2 RBs and 1 is out injured

so we buy another, puts us back on 2

whether you rate Mears or not, we're back down to 1

which is a worry

it's not the answer, but I think Reo-Coker played at RB for Villa a few times, so if/when desperate he may well be chucked back there

Whoever's got in for us, best do one. It's becoming a joke.

I was more bothered that mears was about to become our right winger.

Surely it shoul'nt be too difficult to get a short term loan in until January? Assuming of course that Mears/Ricketts will be fit by then.

Well last season Robinson went to right back when needed, maybe will be asked again if Steinsson gets injured/suspended and Alonso/Gardner at left back, or Wheater at right back, if Cahill doesn't get sold, not the greatest of solutions really.

basically the club will have to bite the bullet and fork out wages for two replacements (chungy and mears)even if only loans. none of this we'll go with a few youth team players shite

Just been contacted by Coyle asking if I can play right back next week, had to decline. Received a better offer from Kettering Town.

HAHAHA

Can see Gavin McCann walking back into the starting XI now.

I'd never play wheater at RB again looks so out of sorts there, was forever reverting to center half and after how ever many years playing CB you can understand why. What's that young lad Neville doing theses days. . . .

Seen him in Greggs up at middlebrook the other day.

I thought he had long since moved on

Can we get our Nicky back?

He was in full bwfc training gear, with a young academy lad

Wheater at right back. Did you see Blackburn away last season? Utter dogshit. Although desperate times an all that.
