beer_swiller Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) A pub I go to watch away games advertises them and forthcoming fixtures, they have done so for years. Until someone actually states it is illegal then they will continue to do so. A Norwegian friend watches every Bolton game on a channel similar to what we do but nothing is said over there? This person also gets BBC1 and ITV but he doesn`t pay a TV licence. Edited October 7, 2011 by beer_swiller
DIPS Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 It's bullshit. Every other country in the world can watch every game played. Except in the UK where games are played, we're restricted to what SKY dictates is good viewing.

If every EPL game was on TV then half the lower league clubs would go bust. If SKY were allowed to show every prem game live then believe me they would Edited October 7, 2011 by Danny G

Ask yourself, why is it that even before SKY had any right sto football no game had even been televised at 3pm on a Saturday... It's got fuck all to do with them. As Danny has said, if SKY could get away with televising and broadcasting 3pm games to the UK audience then they bloody well would do because they could probably hike up their prices even higher. They wouldn't give a fuck about the smaller clubs outside the PL losing even more fans.

He has it at his house getting all the footy and gets all the Sky Channels as well, costs him next to nothing compared to Paying your ?60 / month to Sky.

Carlos Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 They can of course restrict it to cable and internet viewers so that satellites are obsolete. Job done.

He will have a dreambox and pay 10 quid a month to a cardsharing server.
