was always surprised how far grimbsy was even from bradford.

I posted that Grimsby got beat 5-0 by someone I'd never heard of. Luton were miles ahead of us in the 90's when Steve Thompson went there. Still, long as we have a god given right to be in the "EPL" we'll be ok..

Don't forget Halifax & Chester - even lower.

Seen the Whites at all of them one time or another. Seems another lifetime.

He went to Luton from Bolton for about ?175,000 IIRC.

 

He wasn't there long, before they sold him to Leicester for a profit. He also played for Burnley
