Oh, & for what It's worth, who the Fook announces the keeper as the MOTM, with 10 minutes left to play in a game at 0-0? We all said.... you know what'll happen now? 90 seconds later......

Did either keeper have a save to make at that time, I can only remember their keeper saving from Pratley who should have equalised in the 90th minute all game. Jussi picked the ball out of the net twice and saw a cross hit the bar, other than that it was just common catches and dealing with clearances from back passes.

Cahill was MoM for me today, did'nt stop all game. Wheater did have a good game too. If we are still in the same position in January i cant even imagine how bad its going to be when Cahill goes.

 

Playing Eagles on the left and Petrov/Kakuta on right did'nt work for me. With two up front your wingers should be doing all they can to get the best cross into the box, they cant do that using their weaker foot. I know theres a chance of them cutting in and getting a shot away but lets get the basics right first!

Our run in is fairly easy. We will be able to pick ourselves up if we end up in a relegation narrowness we did the same thing under megson starting with that win at boro. We were worse then. If we need to, we will do it again.

 

Sorry, I have never been able to visualise Coyle organising a defence to get a result away in a relegation match.

 

If he can't get results against weak opposition at home, he is lost.

 

He hasn't got a clue on how to approach an away match in the Premiership.

Jussi pulled off a cracking save in the second half, think it was an effort by Wickham. Did really well to get down in time, many a keeper would have been beaten.

 

I'd have give MoM to Ricky G. Only because I bloodt love the guy and it meant we wouldn't have to see Paul Robinson at LB, who was unfortunately only shifted to RB. How the bloke still manages to start games really does amaze me. Awful. Just awful.

You have to look at the hard facts and take loyal sentiment out if the predicament. I remember OC playing for us and understand his ties to BWFC.

 

BUT. Let this blind us from the basic facts at our peril. The more attractive freeflowing football hasn't happened. We have the vast majority of OC signings and they are average at best.

I'm not advocating removing OC, primarily cause I don't know who could make a silk purse from this pigs ear, but the honeymoon period is over.

He wasn't poor at all. I seem to remember him making a couple of poor passes, but compared to Robinson looked a lot more comfortable. Got to start him next week at LB.

He keeps smiling for the cameras though,the smiles were wiped off our faces 15 games ago.

Basically we have 4 premiership quality players: jussi, cahill (when bothered), chungy and holden. You can't polish a turd!

It would have to be 3 teams below 30 points for the first time in Premiership history.I've really got a bad feeling about this season - we need some positive thinking, where's Zozzy and Bolty when you need 'em?.

I know this has been brooched before, and I do think Coyle has it in him to be a very good manager, just not right now. But rather than sacking him, we should bring in an experienced coach to work along side him, this will benefit both the team, and Coyle, as at the moment he has definitely lost the plot, he might not like the idea of being undermined but the club do need to act fast, and as has been mentioned in the past Mclaren could be just the sort of coach that could inspire the team.
