Going this weekend with my friends from back in the UK. Anyone any suggestions of the best things to do. They are here Saturday to monday. So far looking at doing:

Jolly Sailor! haha. Think that's the main pub in the RLD. Great place to watch the seediness unfolding. Worst pissers on the planet though. Don't, whatever you do, go in there needing a dump!!

If I recall, the shitter is a sit up and beg type right at the end of the bar. Last time I was in there, someone had missed the hole with his brown egg by a good two foot. The barman had to hose it towards the hole which took a good 5 minutes and stank the place out.

 

Best pub in dam.

Eat a full box of Philosophers Stones, then wander round the Red Light District all night. Incredible memories.

Was in there 2 weeks ago, the pub not the loo,Mate came back saying whatever you do, do not go to the bog for a shit, Also having a piss in those outside loo's, fook me the smell.

Oh and have a good time Big E, it really is surreal and you will see the most beauitiful girls possible who you would otherwise never get the chance it rinse! Would agree with that, The Heineken bar at the end of the tour and video/simulation tour of you as a bottle of beer :drinks:

Stones Cafe/Bar near the church in the RLD is a cracking little pub. Got a huge bouncer who looks like Sloth off the Goonies. You can have a smoke and a drink in there, where a lot places are one or the other.

 

What?s the crack with Amsterdam? I heard in the new year they are about to clamp down on all that?s good about the place. Surely they won?t bite the hand that feeds em!

i keep getting told they are going to make it illegal to smoke.......it has never been legal! it is just tolerated. however the high htc content is causing problems. they have had a few issues with gang wars too / people being murdered by folk completely off their cake.

 

i can't see it happening. no dutchy in my work thinks it will happen. we have 3 coffee shops near me and they are all pretty respectable places and the coppers even get coffee in there.

 

that new mayor in the dam wont stand a chance and all will remain good.

 

also it is and always has been illegal for foreigners to use the shops....or so i am told by my colleagues

The places you go for a shuffle are decent :D spent a fortune in them over the years.

 

Oh and tell them to bring a few quid if they plan on drinking.
