marple whites Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 "A leopard never changes its spots" springs to mind. Same with Lee Hughes. These footballers think they are invincible.

L/H White Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Well he is in the top 10 in the fantasy premier league strikers !! Well in that case, I take it back.
athywhite1958 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 He's a bloke with a pulse for fucks sake, he lives the bachelor lifestyle, earns a shit load of cash, his wife is in another country, what is he supposed to do with his spare time, go to museums?
Youri McAnespie Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I was confused by the bit about his wife finding racy photos of girls 'lying around'. I thought everyone had stuff like that on their laptop/mobile/ipad etc. these days? Perhaps he's got one of those digital photo frames, for showing off his conquests to visiting teammates. Maybe he's old school and has a dark room with lines strung across - loads of nudie pics clipped to it Like the other poster said; his wifes miles in Germany, he's 31, well off, has had a recent(ish) health scare and Spinningfield's bars and constituent temptations are on his doorstep - somethings got to give.
Mona Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 "A leopard never changes its spots" springs to mind. Same with Lee Hughes. These footballers think they are invincible. Get real, if he was something more than a meal ticket, she'd be living in the uk with him Don't approve of his life style either, but feel sorry for the kid
no balls Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 She's a fucking hypocrite. She says a footballer's wife life isn't for her but I can assure you from those photos, the clothes she's wearing, the sunglasses and handbag are not from Primark or Debenhams. I'd imagine a craftsman who comes home at 5pm and is happy with his lot won't get you those. She knew what she was getting into years ago. Living in another country, did she really think he wasn't going to be nobbing other women? Get a grip, love.

You mean to tell me things of that nature are available in that way?! Since when?

Cant believe you suggest that - sex in museums is illegal and he is better doing it in his flat
Exiled Girl Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 She's a fucking hypocrite. I haven't read the article, but isn't it possible that she has her own career and can afford to buy those things for herself? Like you or I could?
Walkden26 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I haven't read the article, but isn't it possible that she has her own career and can afford to buy those things for herself? Like you or I could? She will be a typical leach. She has no career and will live off Sir Ivan's money. She will be sorted now the divorce is on its way. All said though I don't approve of Klasnic's actions.
no balls Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I haven't read the article, but isn't it possible that she has her own career and can afford to buy those things for herself? Like you or I could? She doesn't appear to have any income or any career, so I'd hazard a guess, Ivan is the main wage earner in the relationship. It's easy for her to say she wants a man with a 9-5 job when she's married to a man who earns a hell of a lot of money. Dave Beckham's wife might not be everyone's cup of tea, but she pays for her own handbags.

no balls Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 How? With money I'd expect. She was part of one of Britain's most succesful girl bands and she does this. It's clearly not her designing, but she earns a crust. http://www.victoriabeckham.com/

Dave Beckham's wife might not be everyone's cup of tea, but she pays for her own handbags. Fair enough if she hasn't her own income. I sort of assumed that if she'd stayed in her own country when he was working away it was because she had her own career to pursue, not because she didn't want to move away from her mum.
Youri McAnespie Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) It's a good job she wasn't compatible as a kidney donor, that would've have made for 'interesting' division of assets talks. I think both No Balls and Exiled Girl are sort of making the same point from different angles. I recently heard some bollocks statistic on the telly, probably manipulated as usual but, the programme* claimed a large percentage of girls aged 11-16 aspire to be either a glamour model and/or the wife/girlfriend of a footballer. EG makes the point there are surely better goals to aim for, ones just as attainable and rewarding (if not more so). NB is right in saying if your sole aim is to 'dance' with a footballer or any bloke who's wadded - to choose to lead such a vapid, shallow and parasitic existence, then be prepared for the consequences if said bloke finds a better, more enthused dancing partner, or becomes bored with the music (beat that for a shit simile). *Probably something really weighty and hard-hitting like 'The One Show'. Exiled Girl Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I think you're about right with your summary. It's a good job she wasn't compatible as a kidney donor, that would've have made for 'interesting' division of assets talks. I think both No Balls and Exiled Girl are sort of making the same point from different angles. I recently heard some bollocks statistic on the telly, probably manipulated as usual but, the programme* claimed a large percentage of girls aged 11-16 aspire to be either a glamour model or the wife/girlfriend of a footballer. And if true, that is pretty sad. In my day (a long time ago) being an air hostess was the glamorous career, but I can honestly say that most of us wanted to get somewhere on our own merits and didn't see marriage as being something that would buy us handbags*, despite "being a good wife" being pushed at us by the unmarried, female, staff at school as the top career choice. *Handbags, in those days, were of course still rationed.
Youri McAnespie Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 (edited) And I think really unfair, just when blokes could start moving into the field of being spongers/'kept men' or otherwise living off their partners, along come these WAGs/EssexGirls/Scousewives etc. filling the potential breadwinners of tomorrow's heads with rubbish. I feel sorry for the young, bone-idle lads who won't even get a chance to sit on their arse all day drinking lager, watching CBeebies and pretending to be growing from an acorn into a big tree.
