December 13, 201114 yr Author I'm getting the word: BUNGS I'm getting the word....HEIST! FSA: "...You're Mr. Skippy, you're Mr. Giro and you, you're Mr. Black..." Jermaine Johnson: "Why do I have to be Mr. Black? 'Cause I'm Jamaican?" FSA: "No, it's because yer a moody c*nt, probably due to smoking your namesake" Con Boutsianis: "I'll trade with you, I'm not being Mr. Skippy - It sounds gay..." FSA: "Well you will be gay - after you've been sent down and bummed in the showers, all because you weren't listening when we were planning this caper, no-ones trading names" Jon Walters: "Eeeerm, whime I Mr. Girow? I don't neeeed to sign on - I have my own form of income..." Everybody shouting: "WE KNOW!" Edited December 13, 201114 yr by Youri McAnespie
December 13, 201114 yr Author Emanuele Morini Gaetano Giallanza Did anyone see Morini play? I know he did at some point (see link below - scroll to foot of page). Due to excess alcohol during that period I barely remember much of seasons 1999-2003. Mystery Italian Goal Machine - Now Works at Pizza Express. The site above claims Paulo Ferreira was on trial and rejected by us - only for Chelsea to pay ?13.2M for him a few years later. Going back to Frank's post, when Giallanza came on at Stamford Bridge, I had a gut feeling he could be a one goal folk hero Like a previous poster said, whenever I've seen footage of that game juxtaposed with a certain fat, bald, bloated pisscan jumping for joy, I have to stop myself from attacking the telly. For similar reasons I've never seen any video of that night at Portman Road either. Edited December 13, 201114 yr by Youri McAnespie

December 13, 201114 yr Did anyone see Morini play? I know he did at some point (see link below - scroll to foot of page). Due to excess alcohol during that period I barely remember much of seasons 1999-2003. From what I remember he was quite a promising lad, but he was very lightweight and struggled when he did play. We sold him off for a pittance (as the link suggested)
December 13, 201114 yr Didnt he have a goal disallowed v Leeds one year late on? Think we lost 3v2, memory may be playing tricks like Yes. A shit linesmans flag from being an all time legend and giving us the point to keep us up. And preventing Allardyce from arriving. Sometimes, some things are just meant to be.
December 13, 201114 yr Whats our Nicky Hunt up to these days, still not getting a game at Bristol? Presumably keeping a bookies stool warm down there.
December 14, 201114 yr Author Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner! His Wikipedia entry is short and [not very] sweet... Mario Espartero (born January 17, 1978 in Fr?jus, Var) is a French football player who is currently without a club. Morini has been plying his trade in various european lower leagues - coincidentally including a spell with Plovdiv's second club (6 goals in 10 appearances). Edit: I've just seen Espartero's last club was in 2006, surely he no longer qualifies as a footballer without a club? A footballer* without a club describes about 30% of the folk on here... * In the most abstract terms. Edited December 14, 201114 yr by Youri McAnespie
December 14, 201114 yr Now I might be making this up, or my mind playing tricks...........didn't we once sign former England player Peter Barnes from City on loan? - I seem to rememembr him starting a game and then pulling up with a hamstring injury after about 10 seconds of the match and then limping off never to be seen again. I was in the Burnden Paddock at the time, so it must have been around 87, 88 or 89 time
December 14, 201114 yr Akin Bulent. Some fecker at work still owes me a tenner too after he bet me Steve Howey never played for us. Clown.

December 14, 201114 yr Akin Bulent. Some fecker at work still owes me a tenner too after he bet me Steve Howey never played for us. Clown. Good simple song from Sunderland supporters a few years ago: "Lee Howey, Lee Howey, Lee howey, your brother is a cunt"

December 14, 201114 yr Think he had a strop when subbed at Sheff Utd and that was the last of him. Indeed- ripped off his shirt and through it down; Phil Neal (I think) ensured it was his last action in a bolton shirt
December 14, 201114 yr Jeez, did Whatmore really score that many goals, my memory's not as good as I thought it was!

December 14, 201114 yr Didnt he have a goal disallowed v Leeds one year late on? Think we lost 3v2, memory may be playing tricks like. He did, after the match the ref said he did'nt know why he'd disallowed it, as in couldn't give a reason. He did but that bastard Wise got back to clear off the line. Frank Leboerf does his best bring Frandsen down & get set off even tries to grab the Dane's leg. Frandsen stays on his feet chips Ed de Goey and Wise ruuning back manages to head it over the bar. Before being soundly boo-ed by the Chelsea fans for doing so. Oh & Farrelly did get the goal for the Bluenoses with Dion Dublin pulling one back but by then we were 2-0 down game over.
December 14, 201114 yr Author I don't remember Fabrice Fernandes playing for us So many forgettable players! The camera doesn't lie - but all I remember about him was he used to stick his tongue out in goal celebration (whilst wearing a Fulham shirt.)
