Mounts Kipper Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Apologies if already discussed but for me last nights game confirmed he MUST start every game. breaks up play and his energy and stamina is far better than anyone else's? Its quite unbelievable he has been left out of the team so many times this season, if anyone watched the Man U V basle game Basle had a player similar to Muamba who had a blinder and was instrumental in Basle knocking them out. Gorillas Finger Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 un sung hero for me, covers the miles, breaks up play, strong and a great team player, ok his passing is poor but he's not there to create is he? Quote
HomerJay Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Football is not all about what you do with the ball Although I thought he was actually quite composed with it last night, his game is doing the dirty stuff. Edited December 21, 2011 by HomerJay Quote

Im told from my sources thats the exact reason why Gael Kakuta wont get a game until he changes his attitude on the matter. Biggest thing Wilshere said he learnt from us when he returned to Arsenal. no balls Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 My sources? Did you really type that? Quote
pato Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 yup I believe ones red and the other is brown Quote
famouswanderer Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 The lad isn't the most talented footballer yet he is so effective. First name on the teamsheet for me. Quote
The Norpig Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Been a big fan of his since we signed him. Everyone got a little too carried away because he wasn't a great passer and couldn't shoot. For a team that doesn't have a great deal of possession at times you need a player like him to win the ball back. Looking solid with Reo-Coker. Also amazed that he has been left out of so many games. HuffyTheCampfireSlayer Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Can't pass wind that boy but does an excellent job of getting the boot in and protecting our comical defence. Absolute first choice for me, and i have to wonder what he has done to be ignored for most of the season. Quote
Butterfly Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Muamba is pub league standard when he has the football.I'm not joking, Rochdale have two central midfield players who have more talent with the football. They aren't physical enough for our level. At home when the emphasis is on us to break teams down Muamba isn't good enough, hence the awful home results. He isn't the only one not good enough but still.. frank_spencer Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 In our 5-0 kicking of stoke Muamba was the driving force of the team Quote

Butterfly Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 In our 5-0 kicking of stoke Muamba was the driving force of the team That was a one off we have been shocking at home, and his finishing was pathetic in that match. If it had been 0-0 rather than 5-0 when he miscontrolled when straight through with the keeper to beat the reaction from the crowd wouldn't have been ", that's Fabrice" Quote
only1swanny Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 so when he played for the under 21's ?? coming through Arsenals youth team... clearly pub standard... Quote
no balls Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Pub league. Fuck me there's some shite spouted on this forum at times. Quote
mickbrown Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 (edited) If we get relegated will some of the fans who obviously don't have a bleeding clue about football piss off back from whence they came? Every cloud................................... Edited December 22, 2011 by mickbrown Quote
enzo gambaro Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 At home when the emphasis is on us to break teams down Muamba isn't good enough, hence the awful home results. He's only played three home games this season, against Everton, City and Stoke. And teams hardly come to the Reebok to shut up shop, do they? I'm not sure the numbers support your horseshit. Quote

Casino Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 muamba played in our home games last year when our record was very good butterfly is owen coyle Quote
Casino Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 and possibly has issues with directional control muambas passing on tuesday was very good, too went off a little towards the end, but i reckon him and coker were shagged Quote
Nobster Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 When Muamba played for the England U21 his job was to sit in front of the defence and break down the play, then a short pass to one of the play makers in the team. If we started him every week and gave him the same roll! I rate him and think he gets to much stick. Quote
