I suspect the police will do what they did at doncaster a few years ago and round everyone up at the station and stick em in one boozer

That's what I'm trying to avoid. Luckily I used to live in donny many years ago, so we skipped past that one & had a bloody good day out.

 

Worse scenario is getting to Macc, being round up & stuck in a shithole to rot til kickoff.

Poynton: Farmers Arms, left out of station, 5 mins walk. Do a breakfast from 10am (tis a big utd meeting place for away games) 15mins to macc in taxi...

Wilmslow. A few pubs when you turn right out of station and walk for 1-2mins. 15mins to macc in taxi...

Neither far from Macc and several trains go through.

Stockport has good connections to Macc but there arnt many pubs around the station now and certainly non that will be open early. (its a hovel)
