dunno, but having left winger as a plan a and defender as plan b doesn't sound like a solid transfer plan to me, i.e. we got money to spend so we'll just bid it till someone accepts, if boro turn us down, will be bid ?6m on a striker or right winger or something?

 

as both players have been bid for, would seem coyle thinks we need both - given their differing positions
