I think instead of 'Failed' you mean 'injured'.

Definitely agree re Robbo, SKD & Pratley. Posted on separate thread re Robbo that he should never be picked it again, he is absolute dog shit. Sad to see the demise of SKD he has gone so far off the boil & offers very little, not sure many Championship teams would have him in their first 11. Pratley has been a real letdown, was shite again today. Worried about Wheater looks capable of getting sent off in every match, assuming Cahill goes need a replacement quick, Wheater does not look the answer.

how can riley be "not good enough- past it" after four 1st team games. One of those games was against stoke, and he marched on the pitch a right back and walked off as a god. No player can prove their worth in 4 starts.

I'm sure Coyle has mentioned previously that only players who want to play for the club will play and that's why some people have questioned his team choices.

Based on today's performance means nothing! The same arguement could potential be used at some of the players mentioned across the start of this season, but not on today

 

Its what makes the romance of the cup I am afraid, and strange that after our success in this comp from the lower divisions that some of our fans need reminding of this. Players do get complacent and de-motivated when playing against lower league opposition. They shouldnt but they do and not just at Bolton.

 

We wouldnt have had the Whitehot years without todays effect being present back then with our opposition! We were really not on the same level as Arsenal, Everton, Villa, Liverpool, Wolves, Oldham in terms of playing ability but the FA Cup factor comes into it.

 

We showed enough to see the team are still willing to dig in when its needed which was a positive to take away

Riley put some fucking great blocks in today. Definately earned his pay with a very early one.

Lawro picked out Riley today as looking very promising

Riley earned his crust today and Mavis made the difference. When he came on we looked totally different. Klasnic should have squared the one he hit at the keeper, great control but shite vision

 

I also thought petrov missed rickets. Robbo is shit and petrov knows he can't bomb forward with him at left back.
