Is it something you think of as expensive? - Yes, aren't churches always needing fundraising for stained glass?

 

If you have doube glazing with the stick on film would you replace it with stained glass to look like it once did at the right price? - Don't have stick on film.

 

If it was bespoke to your designs so you designed it would that intrest you? - Not really.

 

Finally do bespoke mirrors, mosaics made from glass or having digital photos printed on to glass splashbacks interest you at all about something decorative in your gaff? - If I had a old, period property possibly, I dont think it would suit a Jonny Fow end terrace though.

Is it something you think of as expensive? a little but you get what you pay for. if you like it then it doesn't matter

We replaced a crappy front door with an original from a door salvage place in stockport. Then had the stain glass in the window next to the door and half way up the stairs made to match. Looks great.

 

Good luck with your venture. Its great that folks want to work with original featues but also modernise the approach as well

as above, the only place you see is in fancy front doors, which people pay a lot of money for.

 

fairly niche market, so i reckon you'd need a contract rather than selling to public.

It's very badly designed - big centre panel with loads of swirly bits, not a straight bit of lead in sight, so no strength in it at all.

Any strentghing bars in the door it should be attached to a bar or two depending on size at certain points, if there is bars has the ties become detached?

There are no bars across the middle panel because of the swirly design, needs a a complete new window to be honest.

The old folks have a number of stained glass windows in the house. They have had quite a bit of work done on them recently but if they need any more, I shall tell them of your services, young man.

Do you think stained glass or is somthing you dont see anymore? Not in areas where the housing is less than 40yrs old. My house was built in the 1860's, as were the others around me in the village.

Is it something you think of as expensive? One would assume that to be the case, but what isn't expensive nowadays: you get what you pay for.

I stained the glass on me front door a few months back - bits of kebab hanging off it for weeks

I've always thought there's a gap in the market for stained glass windows on public transport.
