So your experience wasn't so bad then? Doesn't mean everyone's made of the same stuff. Your family moved around, including living abroad. Congratulations! Your whole family stayed together. I bet if your family lived somewhere away from everyone they know and your dad suddenly had to go somewhere else leaving just you and your mum, your mum would be upset about it. In fact, I almost guarantee your parents were upset about it at some point but didn't let on to you kids. That's how parents protect their children from these kinds of things.

Erm, the fact we lived abroad means we were away from everyone we knew, pay attention in class please. You're being cryptic, if you've got a point to make, then make it, otherwise move on. One of these countries we lived in wasn't English speaking either, which makes it harder, but you get on with it because you have to. We barely saw my dad til weekends because of the hours he had to put in. That is called life, you make sacrifices to get to where you want to be & therefore reep your rewards later on. We didn't moan, winge or gripe about it because there's nothing to moan winge or gripe about, IT'S CALLED LIFE. As previously stated, if you don't like it do something about it

You'd probably know that if you actually had a soul.

That's got to be the daftest thing I've read on here, congratulations. The fact that i don't make a drama out of every day living means I don't have a soul? OK thengood.gif

Also, the line "People are made differently though, grow a pair" just shows how retarded you actually are. You agree that people deal with things in different ways and then state that anyone who can't handle it needs to change the way they deal with it. Idiot.

No not anyone, just you. The fact you persistantly reference childish name calling, because you don't agree with me, kind of re-iterates my point. GROW A PAIR.

I know, but look at how you turned out (!)

It's funny how people interpret newspaper articles. I guess she was asked to do a piece on her life as a footballers wife around the transfer window and she duly obliged. I don't think she's looking for sympathy or praise. She's given an honest account of her and her families life in the spotlight, Donkey and all.

Being bought and sold like a commodity with your life hanging in the balance waiting for others to decide on your future.

Perhaps try a real job and give up football

That's just the thing. It's not name calling, I'm saying you must be genuinely retarded if you think what you typed makes any sense at all. I don't need to grow a pair. I was making the point that rich people can be miserable too if you're away from friends and family, and you go on about trampling around the world with your family. Diddums. Loads of people would love that kind of life rather than living in one town for your whole life. I guess it depends on your point of view, and I fear yours and mine are very different. Ah well, different stokes for different folks I suppose.

Dear oh dear, clearly your time of the month.

Moving on

I've not read the article but I met Richard dunnes wife once, she told me being married to a footballer was like being a single mum.. seemed ever so slightly just a little bit out of touch.. no lifes perfect, everyone's got problems but a bit of perspective would be nice

Aye, transfer deadline must be a real worry, wondering if a big signing on fee is on the way or not.

the last bit made me chuckle...

Very True! Whoever says money doesnt make you happy is a liar.

She has far too much to say in my opinion.

Her performance on twatter proves this.

She just loves the attention.

Crawley if you are still reading this board you have to raise your game mate. This bloke's more hand wringingly earnest & liberal than you.

Google is your Friend D. They even have a little menu next to them to show what services they offer. Not sure there is a 'pissing on dwarfs' column though?

?

Asking for a bit of perspective from a millionaire footballer's wife, who's bemoaning their hubbie's fate as a 'commodity' makes me a bed-wetter then so be it...I just thought a 'Roots'* DVD box set might sort it (perspective) for her. There'd be no reading involved, she could watch it inbetween dropping the kids off at school and her afternoon at the spa.

Anyway, I'll have you know that yesterday, in this forum, I put forward a proposal to treat the unemployed thus; forcable dosing with Antabuse (stop 'em drinking), chemical castration and splashing petrol on them to both prevent them smoking and have a bath/change clothes...

Shami Chakraba Sami Chakirabiati, Sami Chaka Khan..That asian bird from 'Liberty' is on the blower to me as I type this, begging me to come up with some new initiatives for them...

Are you sure you're not another one mistaking me with Youri Djorkaeff?

* I watched it again about five years ago - it's pretty rubbish these days.

Downtown Prestwich is great entertainment as the 'ladies' have to go out shopping and doing lady type things prior to any surgery.

Bless them, they're all strutting around in size ten stilletos and twin sets and us real ones in Levis and adidas trainers are giving them advise on what to do.

Get yourself to Tesco one lunch as it's a double whammy some days of them and the tappers from the hospital next door.
