February 3, 201214 yr The place near the University has opened apparently. This is news to me - I went past about two weeks ago and it looked far from the finished article. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/9508279.Bolton_One_makes_a_big_splash/?ref=ms Can anyone confirm it's open? I know it's there in black and white, but if the BEN told me the sky was blue I'd open the blinds to check.
February 3, 201214 yr i drove past it and it looks small, its hardly the water place, i cant imagine the yoof having a game of nervous in there.
February 3, 201214 yr 10 years since Water place, damn! I remember so many times there, some good, some bad.

February 3, 201214 yr 10 years since Water place, damn! I remember so many times there, some good, some bad. You got a Verucca? Someone stole your speedos? Wave pulled your speedos down?
February 3, 201214 yr Nothing special, like I once ran into the lockers opposite the doughnut slide and once saw a young lad fall down the steps whilst queing for the blue and yellow slides he cut his leg bad. The good was just having fun in the water and stuff and the waves were pretty cool, not a patch on some indoor aqua parks I've been though, Morrisons was close, so you could get munchies afterwards too Edited February 3, 201214 yr by Didledee

February 3, 201214 yr I never wore Speedo's, used have some blue kickers shorts for swimming times, used swim a lot at Smithills, but we had a boring teacher who just made us do laps and dive for bricks.

February 3, 201214 yr I can imagine you still playing with rubber ducks in the bath. Never had ducks, was the rhino and Shredder most of the time fighting against the ninja turtles, I used have a castle thing that clipped on the bath and you could pretend they were having a war whilst inside the castle, remember losing Rafael because of a lost Tazoo match

February 3, 201214 yr Cockroaches doing the backstroke at Moss Street. The balcony full of kids changing was a peado's heaven.
February 3, 201214 yr Author I used to get some right strange looks, when I used to say I'd been for a swim at the Water Place - loads of people didn't know there was a 'proper' training pool there for Adults only. That said, you used to see some real oddbods on their tod, in the main/kid's section of the complex - thankfully you couldn't fail to notice the attendants, unusually vigilent for them, watching like hawks... Where was Moss Street? Sounds as bad as High Street. Edited February 3, 201214 yr by Youri McAnespie

Anyway, I was working at a restaurant in town and one of the other waitresses got talking to me about the water place, and about this lifeguard that she had shagged in the changing rooms .... lo and behold it was said fiance!!
