March 6, 201214 yr Rangers turned down a bid from us in August, now he's been made redundant. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/14533576 Can we sign him up?
March 6, 201214 yr Think we can sign out of contract players can't we? Didn't Fulham just do that? If not I guess we could sign him now even if he wasn't eligible until next season. Could we sign him then send him out on loan?

March 6, 201214 yr For us or anyone to sign him. I think the player has to have no club at the time the previous window shuts. Perhaps as Flannel says, sign him and play him next season
March 6, 201214 yr That Russian? Doubtful a Rangers player will have such impact though. Nah it was Mahamadou Diarra
March 6, 201214 yr That Russian? Doubtful a Rangers player will have such impact though. Nope Mo Diarra he'd been injured since being released by Monaco in the summer.

March 6, 201214 yr Aye, let's supplement our recent championship players with some Pub League players, onwards & downwards
March 6, 201214 yr Why has Wylde not offered to play for free ?? As he knows he can get a move to England for more money than he is on, so wont really lose any money.
March 6, 201214 yr Fair play to him though, he could have still got a move to England but dug his heels in to get a pay-off too. Conversely, Just look at the likes of Tal Ben Haim. He's a serious drain on Pompey's finances and if he thought anything of the club he'd offer to rip up his ?35k per week contract and walk away. Of course, you might ask "Why should he?" ... and you'd be right.

March 6, 201214 yr http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/9410398.stm Players who are out of contract and do not have a club can be signed outside of the transfer window if they are unattached free agents when the window closes.
March 6, 201214 yr Sounds decent guy as well: Wylde told BBC Scotland on Tuesday: "I volunteered to walk with no redundancy package today to help the other people in the club who have families, like the kitchen staff. "I offered to walk away yesterday and the club told me today that they would accept that offer http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17221172
