tarian1979 Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Yeah i enjoyed it. Needed 3 pints straight after just so i could breathe though, it was a fucking hilly bugger! Yep really hilly. Im told a few people have had heart attacks and died on the that course, hence a cpl of benches dotted around the place Quote

newton_white Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) How about Stand golf club? Used to be a member there. Always in good nick as its on sandy soil so drains really quickly. Not sure how the course is after that water pipe was laid across some of the holes though. May take a few years to recover from that. There's a cracking course near Huddersfield that I've played a few times, got buggies too. Another muni but a nice course but can't for the life of me remember it's name. Snow_white Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 I went to Hawkstone park in Shrewsbury. Beautiful scenery and a good test of your golfing skills. Played the Hawkstone course on Sunday and the Championship course on the Monday. Quote
