April 25, 201214 yr Superb so far. Barca fan boys listen up - this is entertaining not tippy tappying it about and checking the possession stats every 4 minutes.

April 26, 201214 yr Thought Bayern Munich were very good last night. They wouldn't have needed extra time if Gomez wasn't such a big, clumsy lump. What's German for Andy Carroll?

April 26, 201214 yr Thought Bayern Munich were very good last night. They wouldn't have needed extra time if Gomez wasn't such a big, clumsy lump. What's German for Andy Carroll? Aye they were. After Real's initial burst they were the best team and controlled it, looking far more likely to score. Needless to say, Chelsea are up against it
April 26, 201214 yr Aren't BM missing something like seven players through suspension? david alaba, gustavo and badstuber are suspended for bayern john terry, ivanovic, ramires and meireles are suspended for chelsea
April 26, 201214 yr Fairly even game between Madrid and Bayern, though Bayern played the better football overall and looked most likely, nothing between the sides. As for the Barca game, it was pretty much one sided in both legs but every credit to Chelsea, they came back from 2-0 down against Barca with 10 men at the Nou Camp, they did park the bus but defended brilliantly and also created chances, well a lot more than Inter did 2 seasons ago, was not really concentrating on the game, was watching nervously Villa-Bolton, though I caught a lot and I didn't feel like Barca had a third in them, Messi should have won it but for the last 30 minutes it was all Barca, but it was all outside the box and there was no one really in the box, think they missed a Villa/Zlatan type player on this occasion. Take nothing away from Chelsea, they got outplayed twice but I think they deserved it, defending is part of the game and they scored great goals, well Ramires's was, Torres's was more memorable 'cos of the Gary Neville commentary, lmaobbq at him,
April 26, 201214 yr for the last 30 minutes it was all Barca, "All'? It wasn't Barca when Torres rounded the keeper. This can be the problem playing "keep ball" all the time - great if you end up with a win, not great if your opposition mounts a stout defence and leave you to pretty it about until you disappear up your own arse.
April 26, 201214 yr Well it was all Barca, the Torres goal came from a clearance from Boswinga with Torres all alone on half way, that was always on the cards, especially with Barca pushed way up the last minute and had virtually everyone in Chelsea's half, it was like 21 players in the final third with Mascherano and Pique dropping a little near half way when Chelsea once again blocked/defended Barca's pressure. Let it go son. They are out.
April 26, 201214 yr if messi would of scored the goal that torres did, the whole of football would be still wanking over it. chelsea & bayern over two legs were the better side. chelsea got some justice for their semi a few years ago
