correct pal,but he's only a back-up player at most now. he would jump at a chance of regular football esp closer to his home.

He played 31 BPL games last season for Newcastle, that's not really a "back up" player is it. I would be surprised if he left Newcastle where he's a regular player and wanted to drop a divison, just to be an hour or two closer to Liverpool

How many of those 31 were as a sub? At the start of the season he was first choice but I'm sure at the back end of the season he was on the bench for the majority of the time.

 

Not sure how much use he'd be anyway tbh. Did an excellent job at Newcastle because all their team played as a team and defended as a team. He'd be a hell of a lot more isolated if he was playing LB for us.

 

There's got to be better and cheaper out there.

We'll only know if it's bullshit when all of it, or none of it happens............I must admit, Miami seems to be linking us with an awful lot of players

davide santon seems settled at left back for them now,and mr taylor is a tad unhappy. he'll be here next season as part of the mark davies deal. i think he's a decent utility player and would do well for us
