Anyway i spent the day productively, helping my nana celebrate her 90th birthday.

That was really undignified - and I'm not one for royalty usually. Manhandling the Queen into a tu'penny, ha'penny Gyppo craft (something off Bolton Canal) and her having to wave to the cockney plebs who hadn't turned up. Disgraceful - I predict similar national disgraces in Ukraine, lazy bastards who are too self-involved/cowardly to throw a bit of garden furniture across a Piazza in the name of England.

I'm off to get mortal drunk in an hour or 2 at a party in Horwich.

 

If I'm capable of seeing the Pike beacon be lit, I'll be gobsmacked.

I've got a very tall friend visiting this afternoon/evening. Me & her are probably going to get royally leathered in the local wine bar then forget all about the beacon thingie later & wonder who's set the pike on fire.

Celebrated last night with an Indian takeaway, Australian red wine and watched "The Patriot" about the Yanks stuffing us.

 

However, I did wash myself down with Punk Britannia on the Beeb, great programme, can't wait for episodes 2 & 3.

Been camping all weekend, and today I cant be arsed doing anything. So thats what I am going to do. Might watch HM light the beacon later and raise an ice cold Boddingtons to salute her.
