July 23, 201214 yr Is Lacoste a bit like Fred Perry and Burberry, associated with chavz? I wasn't aware Fred Perry shirts have ever been a favourite of the Chavs and Burberry is now far from the brand the common people tried to ruin.

I worked for Burberry for 10 years and all we could do eventually was drop the check. It was akin to using a teaspoon to stop your boat sinking. It's been reintroduced to some garments recently but only the sort of stuff it'd be hard to copy and rough arses wouldnt buy anyway.

I think it's just offices now, though I did go down there back in the early 90s, blimey. Girl I work with, her best mate works for them down London town so I'll ask when she's back in.
