Marc505 Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I prefer it to our third kit at least, dont mind stripes for a change. I used to love that red/blue striped shirt we had in 90's, didnt seem to play in it that often though I could be mistaken. I remember us playing in it against Gretna. Quote
Gumbo Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Correct! Coyle out scored two. We nearly went out. We played in that kit as we were drawn as the away team Quote
superkev Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Is it still ok for a grown man to buy a shirt for his holidays Quote
no balls Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Is it still ok for a grown man to buy a shirt for his holidays No. Are you going abroad? It might be a hydrophillic fabric, but it's still polyester. Stick to cotton & linen in a hot country. HTH but Maarsh may be more knowledgable on breathable fabrics than me Quote
superkev Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Florida. Humid and hot. I thought the climacool fabric would be perfect for that kind of weather Quote
no balls Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Florida. Humid and hot. I thought the climacool fabric would be perfect for that kind of weather You can't beat natural fibres ,stick to them and you'll feel comfier. Climacool just means it'll let the sweat come out. Thing is though, in polyester you sweat more in the first place. The reason shirts are made in this is due to being lightweight and moveable. Lightweight cotton or linen is far more comfortable in humidity. It's not like you'll be running around all day with a football, will you? Quote
Casino Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 nb, i read on tinterweb that the new adidas kits have been designed by the same cleaners designers as did the reebok ones is that right? Quote

no balls Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 thought not http://www.burndenac...its-adidas/100/ I have no idea who's told him that, but no, it's not true, but why's going to stop anyone posting that they're ITK. It does make me titter. Glad to see the ever sartorially elegant plastic copper giving it the thumbs down though. Quote
Didledee Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 That is our best kit out of the three for me, adidas have blown Reebok away so much it's untrue, just need a better sponsor logo. Quote
stevieb Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Just need a better sponsor logo. Head. Bang. Wall. Quote
wayne cramp Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 That is our best kit out of the three for me, adidas have blown Reebok away so much it's untrue, just need a better sponsor logo. This is all I need to know Quote
Traf Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Traf- what is your decision now? Money staying in pockets. Fanfared arrival of adidas who have produced 3 uninspiring kits IMO. The grey one had some promise, but grey shirt, white shorts and red socks is madness, even to a colour blind man like me. No better than reebok IMO. Quote
Garrp Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I like all 3 I still wont be buying any of them Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Can you not squeeze into a youth size? Obese youth size might just fit. Quote
