Bolton 2 Watford 1

Mr Coyle

The Sons of the Desert does not feel the need to remind yourself of the importance of this game, not just to the long suffering White sons, spread over every nook and cranny of this world but also to your 'good' self.

It begins a trilogy of games of the utmost improtance, which ultimately will decide your fate.

The Udinese reserve fixture is the first which you will be judged upon, anything less than a comprehensive tanking of the Hornets will be seen by the Lodge, as a total failure, and your head will be on the chopping blocks within the barracks.

No doubt your partner in crime Mr Gartside will do a Dolly Parton and stand by his man.

Failure in the second game, and i'm afraid the jury will be well and truly out.

A third flop, and the sons will bury their hands in the sand if Edwin and Phillip do not undertake their roles as chief executioner and your tenancy should be cut as short as your matchday/touchline trousers.

We do not want to go through those days in the 80's again when just 91 fellow sons travelled to vicarage rd to watch us get drubbed 3-0 by elton john's gaygang which left us singing the blues, you though do not have time on your hands for that.

Their fans were resplendant in doc martens, green flying jackets and the obligatory yellow scarves, making them when combined with luther blissett, john barnes and co,look more like an advert for the Jamiacan tourist board. Well Mr Coyle,i'm afraid you may be on an extended holiday if you do not buck up and pull your silly socks up.

After the international break,we sincerely hope you adopted fresh and appealing tactics for this fixture.

Christ Eagles is flying and soaring with confidence, and should be buzzing against the Hornets,Bogdan has to keep his place between the sticks solely to confuse the opposition with his hair colour, and make them play soft passes back to him instead of firing shots in non-stop.

Mr Spearing should drop anchor, fill the midfield cavity and ensure no Gap for Watford to drive through. He should station himself centrally, and starve the opposition of service, and fuel our relentless attacking surges.

We're hoping the real Slim Shady/mark davies will please stand up and also hope and pray that Marvin Sordell will be very buzzy against his former family and show why he left their nest.

Mr Coyle, the clock is ticking, the countdown has begun, you've missed your initial target more than the Luftwaffe missed their targets,by playing the following side, you may just purchase an extended stay.

If the Hornets leave a nasty sting in the tail,it woud be time to buzz off

ADAM FROM WOGDAN

SAMUEL RICKETTS-----MATTHEW MILLS------ZAT KNIGHTMARE-------MARCUS ALONSO

KEITH ANDREWS-----------------MARK DAVIES------JAY SPEARING------------------CHRIST EAGLES

MARVIN SORDELL-----KEVIN DAVIES

I'M GOING FOR A COMPREHENSIVE 4-0 VICTORY FOR BOLTON.

Mr Coyle,if you cannot produce a side capable of victory against a side from the Vicarage, then start saying your prayers

  • When it gives a pathetic manager a little more time or it's just a rare good result in the middle of losses and draws. That's all it is under Coyle, I want us to win, but a win will not see Coyle sack

  • Fuck sakes

  • Seems like I called it right. Just got back from the game. Great 3 points if not great performance but will take that all day long. Good first half performance, nervy 2nd half performance, but Bolton

Why boo the team after a win ? admittedly I havent seen the game but surely a wins a win.

Very fortuitous.

Mr Coyle and co - you have no need for Viagra as you pricks know how to make things very hard for yourselves.

I'm off to Boots with the other rockclimbers fromm the Reebok who were hanging on for dear life at the end. My nerves are shattered. Hope for better at Brum and show your mettle in Sheffield

Absolute rubbish.

Clueless tactically, 4-5-1 with a centre forward on right ring and best right wing in the League on bench?

Let's look at the positive, 3 points

No wonder they conceded 5 at Derby last time out, should have been out of sight before half time, they are truly awful

Still cant believe he did not drag Davies off after 80 mins,he looked more fucked the girl in a 100 man gangbang.

Didn't here many boos after the game.

There was plenty during the 20-25 minute spell in the 2nd half where we barely touched the ball.

Decent result but still lots of room for improvement.

When we attacked we looked potent. When we defend we are shambollick.

Eagles alonso and spearing stood out as positives.

However: Keith Andrews is truly biz.

Mears is a liability. Mavies v. Disappointing again.

A win is a win but we won't play many poorer sides than Watford this year and we made it look difficult

Pretty accurate for me.

The win is a small sticking plaster on a gaping wound.

1st half, three free headers from corners & a free-kick; 2 goals and 1 cleared off the line. Watford very poor, but still hit our bar and had 1 cleared off the line.

Truly abysmal 2nd half. Don't know where to start, except it's all been said before. AND THEY'RE NOT FOOKIN FIT, COYLE !

PS : I was surprised when I heard N'gog was starting. Seemed risky given his pre & early season absence. Hope his injury isn't bad.

Mills reminds me of a subbuteo player

We aren't very good, but 3 points

As someone said, Andrews is shiite

Spearing best player

Who was is the sizable minority who booed Pratley when he was coming ON? Knobs!

picking a team with no right winger despite having petrov and (maybe tired) lee on the bench was laughable

to then compound it by playing with 3 central midfielders and nobody on the right was criminal

afobe played 3 roles in the first 5 minutes he was on

sordell overlooked again despite davies having chances to score at least 4

he can fcuk off

just go

Well around me, it seemed to be directed at the player rather than the Manager. Thought he did well when he came on as it happens.

Think it will be 2-1 to bolton. Don't think Ngog should start. Think he is vastly overated. Will have been a lot of questions asked about the Hull performance and time to dwell which direction the team wants to go. Really feel that defeat was the turning point and will be the catalyst for 3 points here.

Seems like I called it right. Just got back from the game. Great 3 points if not great performance but will take that all day long. Good first half performance, nervy 2nd half performance, but Bolton never do it easy.

I sometime I wish they would, but that would take all the fun out of it

miller, are you watching the toffees on monday,or are you really a closet Wanderer ?

Think it was more like the nature of the win and the substitutions. I thought petrov should have been on to be fair. Don't think the booing helps the team but can see where the fans are coming from. Poor watford team but 3 points, hopefully starts to bring confidence.

Old fashioned marks out of 10

Boggers - 5 - still not looking himself this season for me.

Mears - 5 - Doesn't affect the game.

Mills - 7 - Cracking header off the line, looked about as good as he has ever done in a white shirt, admittedly not much to be crowing about but look on the bright side.

Knight - 7 - Looked solid throughout.

Alonso - 5 - See Mears comments.

Eagles - 6 - Some decent touches, especially 2nd half. Off the pace by his own standards so far this season.

Andrews - 5 - See Mears and Alonso comments.

Spearing - 8 - Did a bit of everything today. Better on the ball than I gave him credit for. Got lucky trying to dribble his way out of the box 2nd half.

Mavies - 6 - Strange position to play him in. Should have set up Pratley for the third late on but fluffed it.

SKD - 6 - Took his goal well. Didn't get much help from the ref.

Ngog - 7 - Played well first half. Offers something a bit different to our other strikers.

Subs

Pratters - 7 - Came on and did well. Looked mobile and got into decent positions on more than one occasion.

Afobe - 5 - Failed to make an impression.

No mate season ticket holder in gwaldys street, so will be there, however like I say family support Bolton so have a soft spot for them and want them to do well, go to reebok maybe 4-5 games a season.

Round pegs in square holes have to agree on Andrews I can only think the sitting role does not suit him and he might be better bombing on but from what I have seen he is terrible. Other disappointment is Afobe utter wank, if Sordell is no better then Coyle want sacking for paying 3 million. This squad is crying out for 2 defensive midfielders and a front 4 of Ngog, Petrov, LCY, and Mark Davies in the hole.
