Our Next Manager

On MOTD now.

We don't have a goalscorer. How many transfer windows had OC had to try to get one and fail?

SKD has never been one, but the blind loyalty to him is one big problem. If we are to have SKD to win the headers we need a 5' 8" speed merchant to work off him, not a 6' 2" clown.

Gabby yorath would be a step up from coyle - I agree

I THINK I COULD TO A BETTER JOB TBH!

Get Baden-Powell in, or Terry Yorath, or Jenni McCarthy or Captain Scarlett or anyone - just get rid of Coyle and his coterie of bums.

Bill Ridding, whats he doing these days?

On a serious note if the club got rid of clueless who would caretake, would not put it past Gartside to have Sandy in charge, can you imagine?

Walter smith for me .

There's a lot of good candidates in my view billy Davies with Ju Darby as coach anyone?

you know as well as i do, coyle is going nowhere, he would of been sacked by now if that was the case but i fear gartside is too stubborn this time to admit he fucked up once again

As long as we remain inconsistent, he's going nowhere

We need to lose a 4 or 5 on the trot for him to be leaving IMO

But I just can't force myself to wish for defeats

We must not take the cheap option we must have a manager with lots of experience and a good track record, someone who would instantly commands respect, it won't come cheap but it is the most important decision since we sacked Phil Neal and brought in Rioch.

We have no money to spend, a pile of debt and are in the Championship. Out of interest, who do you think will come? Not having a go, just wondering who you think we can attract that is at the level you are hinting at.

I dont buy this no money bullshit, something doesnt add up and something dodgy going on

Alex Mcleish is the standout candidate for me

You know what? I think I agree with you. Which depresses me massively.

*not the agreeing with you bit, but that McLeish is our best bet.

Thats the problem; I want us to win every game and after a win I get false optimism. I know that we wont turn it round with Coyle in charge because he makes the same mistakes again and again but after a scabby win I live in hope. I was even looking at train times and costs from London for the Leeds game and was nailed on to stay over and do Millwall away after we won at Sheff Wednesday; I wont do any now.

We have just got to take it because they dont look like getting rid even though he has ruined our club

Would rather have Coyle than Mcleish.

Me too and i REALLY don't want coyle in charge any more

Mcleish is possible the most negative manager on the face of the earth, even more so than Megson. I was saying to a mate yesterday that the 2-2 we got against Brum a few years back we could only have got with him in charge.

I don't see too much about if I am honest but not to say we should accept what we are getting served at present.

A Bolton lad who's a Man United fan I would rather be relegated to the Pioneer Sunday, fuck right off.

We have a squad dripping with attacking talent a stadium that is top draw a good support base and given the right results and performances a passionate crowd, I think it's a brilliant job for someone and there would be no shortage of top class candidates applying for the job. let's not get to down with where we are we're 6 points behind the league leaders with the right management we can piss this league.

Captain Scarlet my arse, the red bastard. Now that would be a bad appointment, wooden tit ?
