I think it's called "Terminal Velocity" where an object reaches the maximum speed it can fall at....although that is no doubt governed by how much resistance there is. I presume this bloke will be wearing clothing that has little or no resistance and he'll be pointing head down. To travel at the speed of sound will be some going though.
