November 5, 201213 yr I somehow watched this last night, it was either that or talk. 'Twas a good watch. Bumgardner came across as a bit of a diva at some points ... but then again he was the fucking loon who was jumping from space so I'll let him off. I too felt a bit emotional when the old dude was getting emotional when he landed. It must be rag week.

I'm a sucker for getting involved in documentaries, this was brilliant. When that chap fell off the side of the plane, i thought what is felix doing this mon is going to die hurry up you tit!
November 5, 201213 yr Great documentary. Didn't realise someone else attempted it in the late 60s without success. Am I not right in thinking he did a test jump from 95,000 feet - that wasn't shown on the programme last night. I actually dreamt about skydiving last night. I believe I can fly!
November 5, 201213 yr great program, quite sobering the part where his mate took his mask off and climbed out for the test jump, without realising he was going unconscious you could see him losing his grip and then just fall, it seemed to take ages then for felix to jump out as he didnt know. nearly filmed his own death that bloke
