no balls Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Around that era, when we had one shit manager after another, after we got rid of Greaves but the club were in tune with us, remember. Quote
Gumbo Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Darlo at home when only 15 if us were there, me being one was worse. And my track suit was in the wash Quote
Farrelli Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 oh that old chestnut back then the club were in tune with the fans, now they feel fuck all for us, and in the words of owen clueless cunt coyle, those of us not in football dont understand. I inderstand perfectly well, we have gone from a mid table premiership team to 18th in the championship That is rubbish, you really dont know what your talking about. Let me tell you, the Wanderers heirarchy in the seventies/early eighties treated fans with utter contempt. The only time they wanted to hear our views then was when we nearly went bust in 1982 and Nat Lofthouse came on the pitch to do his emotional speech begging fans to save the club and launching lifeline. kent_white Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I come on here to read other people's views too.. when you say i spend a lot of time on here.. you may notice i'm a few thousand posts behind you, so obviously you think being on here IS a positive thing to do with YOUR time I'm not the one who's spat my dummy out and is complaining that I have 'lost my love' for the club. I'm still quite enjoying things (strangely) - hence WW is positive thing to do with my time. Quote

I dont spit out my dummy when someone has a different view to me either unlike you.. But come on... let's hear the positive side of things at the club that you're enjoying so much. From what i read on here there's quite a few looking for something positive to read about BWFC.... Will look forward to hearing what you're so happy about Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 One positive for me is that, since we're no longer in the Premier League, I never get to SEE our boys being embarrassed any more. I just listen to it on Wanderers Player now. Quote

Traf Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Just got a message from Wikipedia... Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Bolton Wanderers F.C. because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Mattythewhite (talk) 17:11, 9 October 2012 (UTC) Quote

Will look forward to hearing what you're so happy about Yes but your view, as previously stated, is that you don't love the club anymore and that you're through with it. Ostensibly because Gartside hadn't sacked Coyle within 24 hours of the Millwall game. You had what can only be described as a little girly tantrum. In answer to your question, I'm enjoying the banter and the excitement that comes with a new Manager and a renewed sense of hope. I'm enjoying the feeling that somwbody could come in and still turn around the season for a club with a very talented set of players. I'm enjoying supporting the team that I've followed since I was a boy and unlike your good self, haven't just publicly denounced on a forum devoted to the club. I enjoy all our ups and downs, that's what being a football fan is about to me, following the journey. Not shitting your trousers because the Chairman hasn't fired off a Manager at your behest! Quote

kearsleywhite Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Go Kent! But on monday when i asked what you was enjoying, we weren't enjoying banter that comes with a new manager, (we hadn't got rid of coyle at that time ). Also i wasn't just wanting him sacked because of the millwall result... I've wanted rid of him since around last december, when a new manager would have had a chance of saving our premiership status.. My anger is more with Gartside than coyle or even Megson.. I think he allows hopeless situations to continue too long. That applied in Megson's case and also Coyle's case.. In my opinion Quote
