We all had. I think he has qualities but would prefer a more long term strategy. When Megson kept us up then it was his time to go, job done. I hope we don't make the same mistake if Mick gets us up.

Kieth information came first hand from his right hand.

Spot on. It's unbelieveable how some people look back at that cunt.

thirded

Dean Holdsworth anyone?

Dean Holdsworth anyone?

really hope you're joking, aldershot lost their last 5 games and are in the relegation zone of league 2. plus still not forgiven him for 'that miss'.

Dean Holdsworth anyone?

And Darren Ferguson. A wife beating dream team!

Well that's him out http://www.independe...es-8210362.html

Also Appleton favourite for Burnley

No one likes us we don't care!

"We'll go with what we've got" ??????

Why did the writer feel the need to tell us about Liverpool's plan to re-develop Anfiled at the end of all that?!...

I thought that, but couldn't be arsed writing anymore

is the headline about justice for the next Bolton manager, then it becomes obvious!

Anyway, still Billy Davies for me.

I would be happy with Billy Davies as the list of 'preferred' candidates continues to shrink. PDC looks the part when you see him on the telly, but he's a ticking timebomb and would be a disaster here. Appleton would be received in the same manner as Megson was so he'd be on a downer from the off and Keane is the Irish di Canio and not what we need - another failed 'name'

PDC? Am I being thick here?

PDC? Am I being thick here?

di canio i think

a new name to set tongues wagging and throw a bit of controversy into the mix...............Ronnie Moore from our friends in Birkenhead.

not exactly young, but doing a fine job over there. Working on a minute budget and with a squad of only 18.

I await your abuse troops.

At this rate,we'll be passing each other come May

Ive read this thread from start to finish for the first time today. I wish I hadnt bothered, it makes for grim reading!

I voted for PDC by the way. Purely because if the ESL yoof booed him he'd probably knock fuck out of em!

di canio i think

Thank you.

I'll stick with Di Canio or Paulo.

HR - without stating the obvious, i presume thats because bwfc have no interest, rather than hill and flicker not being interested?

Just as the papers said one thing last week, it's saying another this week.

Personally, don't believe any of it. I'll believe something when I see a manager holding a scarf on the pitch.

Still reckon that will be middle of this week.

Gonz, STFU :D

get your giro on Ronnie Moore

we should email this to Marc Lies and know what the headlines will be in tomorrow's paper

Appleton works for me

Worked for some good runs

Knows the game, can wheel and deal, probably happy to work with Phillips, Lee et al

I'm up for that

Its not Hollywood - ogs is the nearest thing we have as a glamorous appointment - but I think Appleton is substance over style

I really hope Appleton goes to Burnley, that way he's not coming to us.

As all the front runners rule themselves out, the more Jimmy Phillips and Sammy Lee appeals to me.
